About Dryrain's Reskin




Dryrain's Reskin is a graphical mod that changes the looks of many units. It's focusing on realistic and lore friendly vibe. Also it doesn't make much of a difference from the vanilla intention. There are only subtle visual changes that give more variety rather than changing the appearance entirely.


Summary


○ More varieties for Beastmen units.
○ Special appearance for ROR units.
○ Improved textures.
○ Adjusted colors.
○ Purely cosmetic mod. It doesn't affect on gameplay.


Setting and Compatibility


○ Keep your unit detail setting to ultra. Otherwise it doesn't work fine.
○ The images were affected by Reshade 3.0 and other mods. preset[drive.google.com].
○ Compatible with any mods that does not edit same variantmesh files, textures and color tables.


Suggetion and Bug Report


○ Unfortunately I'm not good at english. If you keep the grammar, it helps me understand the words.
○ I'll look into every suggestions. but it doesn't mean I promise to apply changes.
○ If something is wrong, please run the mod without other mods first.
○ Some units look weird in a distance. It's LOD problem.

○ Mousillon unit cards are made by SPARTAN VI.

I understand. But what about changing up their armor's color scheme to be more in-line with Bretonnia's then (i.e Red & Blue, Green & Yellow, Black & Red, etc.)?

intersting but beastmen have unique unit size. it's not compatible with human unit size.

@Dryrain, I don't have TW:WH2 yet, so I am posting here on this page. It's regarding the 30th Anniversary RoR Beastmen unit, Khorok's Manrippers. From the Convert or Die website https://convertordie.wordpress.com/tag/khorok-manripper/

The Warherd of Khorok Manripper..."Khorok snapped the antlers from the knight's battered helm and later on, after the battle was won, bound them to his own horns. Soon, the entire tribe had taken to bearing Bretonnian symbols and banners in crude mockery of everything that the Knights of fair Bretonnia hold dear."

Was wondering if you could make that RoR unit wear Bretonnia armor, helmets, symbols, etc. to go more in-line with the lore?
