PGL has unveiled the full schedule and format of the Grand challenge this summer - PGL Major Krakow 2017, which will be held 16-23 July at TAURON Arena in Krakow. The tournament will bring together 16 strongest teams in the world, among which eight showed the best results on Major ELEAGUE 2017 and the final LAN-qualifier for the upcoming major. In the group stage, which will be held on the Swiss system, teams will play each other up to 5 rounds where the opponent is determined by the number of points at the end of last meetings. Three defeats in the General classification, lead to the departure of the team, and three wins to progress to the next stage. The top eight teams at the end of the group stage face off in a play-off, which in turn is traditionally held in Single Elimination format.
