Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Maintenance update for the 2.4 Funcom patch

  • Fixed the issue with being able to place a placeable in a land claim area when in a no build zone + collision blocker zone

  • Set the Tilt/Pitch default setting to always be 30 degrees (if it's toggled on or off).

    This is to resolve a rare bug that could occur when we had the default set to 180.

  • Fixed the random occurance of players not being able to tilt/pitch after logging into a server.

    We tested this quite a bit and had nothing but success cases. But please let us know if any more instances of this issue occur since the bug was completely random and difficult to properly reproduce.

  • Minor optimizations

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Fixed the Tilt and Pitch LBPR Admin Toggle so that when an admin changes it's setting for that, it will broadcast to all players now.

    Before this fix, players had to either relog or remove their bracelet after every server restart. This should resolve that issue, whether the player is online or offline at the time of the change.

    However, we have not been able to reproduce, or have we received a reproduction case for the few reports we got of players not being able to tilt or pitch at all. I am hoping this same fix resolves those instances, but I cannot confirm until or if I am able to properly reproduce the issue.

  • Minor text changes in the LBPR admin menu UI.

    Updated/fixed some tooltips, and changed the text "Rotation" to the proper term of "Tilt."

Before we get to the patch notes, I just wanted to take a second to formerly welcome Alrenstorm (mod author of Emberlight, Savage Wilds, and other mods) to the LBPR team! There is a key new feature added in this update that are all thanks to his efforts. More on that below.

Arrow and Overlap Stuff

  • Made it so that square ceilings can overlap with wedge foundations, and wedge ceilings can overalp with square foundations.

    This allows some interesting stacking mechanics you can do with being able to mix in wedge and square foundations stacking on top of each other using their ceiling counterpart overlapped. Due note though that the game isn't meant to do this, so stacking foundations of different types will mean inconsistent stability changes when normally you would expect a different number (and no, I can't fix that).

  • Stairs had wall types added as Overlap Exceptions

    It's not very easy to create a setup to allow this function. But if you are sucessful in creating a scenario where a stair can overlap a wall down it's center, (creating two smaller stairs on either side) you can.

  • Ramps can now overlap the same things as stairs (foundations, ceilings, walls, doorframes).
Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Re-enabled the vanilla blocker, "Not enough room around the bed. Blocking spawnpoints"

    Having this blocker off often resulted in players placing a bed (or bed roll in particular) in places the game normally wouldn't allow. When bypassing this particular placement blocker, the result is a failed respawn and the player either ending up in the beginning zone area, or a random dungeon entrance. We feel it is best that this blocker remain on for this reason.

  • Improved the "Walkable Floor" Toggle. It doesn't remove all instances of when that blocker comes up, but some of them.

  • Changed the text in the DataCMD menu "Cancel" button to "Close." This matches the text language used in the Mod Control Panel version.

    This is only a text change, it functions the exact same way.

New Additions
  • Added a Toggle to bypass the vanilla pitch and rotation setting so players can increase the degree amount far past the vanilla value. This is off by default.

    The vanilla pitch and rotation value is 30 degrees. You can go as high as a full 180 degrees (which is 360 degrees total, 180 degrees in each direction).

    Important Note: Rotating/Pitching a placeable well past it's intended range can result in the placeable doing a sort of weird breakdance type thing. This isn't an LBPR bug, we are simply allowing people to rotate/pitch their placeables well beyond their allowed range, which has side effects.

    This also isn't something we can fix or improve, we are not changing/overhauling how Funcom calculates placement of an object. We are simply unlocking/allowing players to go well beyond it's intended range.

    Finally, this unfortunately does not work with wall placeables at this time. Wall placeable placement is calculated differentely, they don't even have a vanilla pitch/rotation option. I did try to make it so they did, but I was unable to get it work.

  • Moved the HalfWall Lattice Arrow down to better match its size (Riders of Hyboria DLC)

  • Added Pillars and Stairs to the overlap list (for easier time making pillar corner builds)

  • Re-enabled the ability to free place Gateframes if you want to (without the need for foundation supports).

  • Compatibility update with the latest version of the game.

Known Issues
  • Due to the fact that Bed Rolls are too easy to place, it can cause players to spawn randomly in a dungeon or in the beginning spawn point areas (the game chooses it at random). We ran out of time to fix this issue, but it's a high priority item for an upcoming update.

    The current work around is to make sure that you place Bed Rolls in completely flat areas and DO NOT use the auto align feautre to place (middle mouse button by default).

  • Fixed the toggle for ignoring land claim for followers that would toggle off on restart.

    This was causing glaring bugs that weren't reported or found until the very last minute while prepping for the 2.2 update. Will update again once we are able to find a resolution.

  • Fixed being able to place Thralls anywhere (other then land claim areas) regardless of admin settings.

  • Usual compatibility update with the latest version of Conan Exiles

  • Disabled and removed the "Disable for Check for Walkable Floor" toggle since Funcom patched/improved when this is flagged, and it's no longer really needed. Will re-add it as appropriate in the future if it's needed again.

  • Added a tooltip to the "Allow Placement of Followers on Player Land Claim" to notify admin's that this toggle will disable the error placement text for just about every placement blocker for followers. However, it will still trigger and show up when a placement fails (such as with Walkable Floor checks if trying to make the Thrall float or whatever).

  • Added overlap exceptions for Ramps to Walls, Doorways, and Wall Windows. This matches up with how vanilla is set up, in that they have overlap exceptions for Roof Slopes, but not Ramps for some reason.

New Additions
  • Gave Explosive Jars a overlap box that bypasses all of LBPR's checks, and can't be overriden. This prevents cheasing them (placing them on walls, etc).

    There is currently no toggle to turn this off.

  • Added a new toggle (off by default) that allows Players to place Thralls/Pets/Mounts on land claim areas that are not part of the same clan.
