This version (v0.4) was a major update that restored logical symmetry between skirmish tactics groups. See the main page for a description. I will confess to having intentionally neglected any concerns of "balance" during this update, instead focusing on the coherence of the sansukumi-ken game. Thus, I would appreciate feedback from anyone using this mod. If any balancing is necessary, I prefer to handle that by modifying the base stats of units rather than through breaking the symmetry of tactics logic.

Features that were introduced in v0.3 that are present in the current version:

Swarm Volley, Awesome Advance, Slow Advance, and Overwhelming Charge
In the third multipliers, decreased the required supporting unit fraction of troop type from 30% to 20% in order to match the form of the Schiltron multipliers.

Primary tactics and supporting units
Further decreased the penalties to the offense of the supporting unit from -75% to -50% in order to make their magnitudes less than those of the bonuses imparted by the cooperative tactics.

Features that were introduced in v0.3 that are absent from the current version:

Harass and Disorganized Harass
Limited the decreased Horse Archer fraction that prohibits these tactics to terrain on which the flank may use Swarm tactics. When fighting on rough terrain, a flank must again have at least 50% Horse Archers in order to avoid these tactics.

Raid
Modified the trigger to allow use of this tactic by a flank with at least 50% Horse Archers when it fights on rough terrain (i.e. when it is unable to use Retreat and Ambush and would otherwise use the Wait tactic).

Features that were introduced in v0.2 that are absent from the current version:

Harass and Disorganized Harass
Decreased the Horse Archer fraction that prohibits these tactics from 50% to 35% to provide a greater buffer for Horse Archer retinues and to make combinations of Cataphract and Cavalry retinues more viable.

Swarm and Disorganized Swarm
Added a trigger condition that the total flank be less than 40% Light Cavalry or Camel Cavalry to force the use of Harass Swarm instead.

Features that were introduced in v0.1 that were modified by a subsequent version:

Primary tactics and supporting units
Decreased the penalty to the offense of the supporting unit from -150% to -75% in order to make combinations of two different unit types less onerous. The penalty to the offense of the non-supporting unit remains -150%.

Features that were introduced in v0.1 that are absent from the current version:

Special Troops
changed the "base_type" of Horse Archers to "special_troops" to disallow them from firing light cavalry tactics and changed the "base_type" of War Elephants to "special_troops" to match (and to fix the error in the War Elephants entry)
[This caused a problem with the way that Horse Archers and War Elephants were counted and was removed in v0.8]

Volley Harass
changed multiplier conditions to check Light Infantry against total troops instead of light troops, toward which they don't count (compare to all other such checks: i.e. the second multiplier of Feint, the second multiplier of Raid, the Clever Ambush multipliers, the first multiplier of Mountain Ambush, and the Desert Ambush multipliers, all of which check Light Infantry against total troops)
