Update: 20 May, 2019 @ 9:32pm

  • Usual update to make the mod compatible with the latest version of the game

  • 30 + new custom Thralls made and added to the mod.

I wanted to fill in the gaps for certain factions that had missing Thralls that many other factions had. Most of these were in the Darfari and Dogs of the Desert factions. My additions aren't complete but I didn't want to keep going and push the update back additional days when it's already been delayed a lot.

I'm not sure if switching Tier 4 Thrall mod versions will cause these Thralls to break, it wasn't something I considered until after the mod update was pushed. Just be prepared that switching versions could cause this to happen, I'll test this another day and make a firm note about it then.

  • Added a stamp to Icons for Thralls added by the mod to make it easier for players determine what was added.

  • Made it so Cannibal Brutes should retain their size on Thrall converstion

Cannibal Brutes, and many other Thralls with a 20% boost to their size do so via a blueprint. On convert, for whatever reason, the game doesn't register the blueprint and reverts the Thrall back to default size. I figured out that you could do it via a data table instead and they will retain their larger stature.

This is kind of an experiment to see if it work's okay. If it does, I probably won't expand on it in this mod, but add it as a feature for all the other Thralls that have a 20% boost to their size in a future mod I have in mind. The reason for this is due to performance on lower end machines. As this mod is light weight, I want to keep it that way and keep the higher performance demand mods as their own seperate stuff.

  • Every Tier 4 Thrall should now be using Elite Stat Modifiers instead of Normal ones

Every Thrall in the game accesses one of two data tables that gives them their stats. I found that many Thralls (in particular Purge Thralls) were using "normal" stat modifiers like any other Tier 1-3 Thrall. Where as many others had the Elite Stat Modifiers. No rhyme or reason of what had what. I dediced to take the guess work out of it and made all Tier 4 Thralls have Elite Stat Modifiers. The difference between normal and elite isn't much, but it will make Named Thralls more challenging. Don't worry, more challenging means better at defense too when they join your side.

  • Fixed/changed/improved a couple of map spawns in Sepemeru to spawn a Captain Thrall, and a random Armorer Thrall (that wanders/patrols).

For the first time, and this will likely be very rare that I do this, I made an actual map spawn edit. The Captain Thrall was removed from Sepemeru, and there is now only 1 dedicated Armorer Thrall spawn. I found 3 different spawns on the map that were empty (likely a mistake and were part of my usual reports). So I took one and made it into the Captain Thrall, and the other I turned in a wandering/patrolling random Armorer Thrall.

A Note about Patrol Thralls: They don't have a set path that I could find, maybe they do and I'll discover it later. For now it's simply a toggle that I could find. Once the Armorer Thrall starts on it's patrol from it's spawn point, it could end up just about anywhere within the map cell it's assigned to, until death anyways.

Update: 7 Mar, 2019 @ 3:35pm

  • Latest update makes this fully compatible with the latest version of the game

  • As usual, any usued Thralls that are in the Spawn Data Table but don't have actual spawn points on the map, I've included those in shared spawns that are appropriate to them.

  • A lot of the fixes I've previously had to apply are no longer needed as the Vanilla game has been patched for these.

In other Vanilla news, my personal goals of cleaning up the spawn tables is moving along well. Everytime I sit down to help iron out bugs, I learn way more about the game then I did the previous time. And each time I do this, there are less and less and less issues. This has been a pleasent learning experience and I really appreciate Funcom taking the time to read all of my extensive reports.

Update: 17 Dec, 2018 @ 12:14am

  • Bug fix for the Lemurian Archer that I made a mistake on in the previous version

  • Found a vanilla bug on the SpawnDataTable for the Tier 2 Votaries Alchemist Darfari Female. Instead of spawning, it will spawn a generic NPC (white haired, naked no named male Performer). So I've fixed that in this version too.

Update: 16 Dec, 2018 @ 5:32am

  • Latest update makes this fully compatible with the latest version of the game

  • A lot of the fixes I've previously had to apply are no longer needed as the Vanilla game has been patched for these.

  • Currently there is only one broken Thrall and that is the Black Hand Pirate Archer. A data table fix isn't enough this time, the actual spawn points need to be fixed (which involves an actual map edit, which I'm just not going to do). I moved the Black Hand Pirate Archer into a shared spawn with the Pirate Fighter in the mean time.

  • Other then that, any unused Thralls that are in the Spawn Data Table but don't have actual spawn points on the map, as usual I've included those in shared spawns that are appropriate to them.

  • The only other significant change was that I added Heirs to the North Berserkers to the Fighter rotation in the North.

Update: 16 Oct, 2018 @ 7:45pm

  • For the most part, this update retains a lot of the changes made in previous versions of the mod, but with some changes necessary to make it compatible with the latest version of the game.

  • As always, fixed the found broken spawns and made unused Thralls share existing spawn points with others. Not as many as before, and Lexa (who makes the Exile Lands Improved mod and who I work with closely to ensure our mods are compatible) has already provided the necessary details to Funcom for vanilla fixing.

  • Various Forgotten Spawns now have their own unique spawn points that Funcom added, so the only shared spawn for them now is Archer and Beserkers. There is even a Priest spawn point, but good luck finding it! Kudos to Leeux for stumbling on that one.

  • Votaries remains unchanged, fixed a couple of broken spawns, the same shared spawns added in previous versions are there. Lemurians also remain unchanged.

  • This isn't a mod update, just more of any FYI. Funcom made it so that any Exile camp that spawns at least 3 exiles will spawn a tier 4 thrall. No more need to head to the secret spot for Grr, so, yay! As such, the secret spawn no longer has the 100% chance anymore that it originally did.

  • Nothing else of note that I can think of. There might be some others that I can't remember, I had to redo the entire data table to match the numbers up. Basically though, this mod should have the same features as it always has, just now compatible with the latest version.

Update: 8 Sep, 2018 @ 7:23pm

  • This update has been made possible by collaborate work with Lexa, the Exile Lands Improved mod author.

As such, if you want to use this mod and Exile Lands Improved together, you can. Just make sure to load this mod after Exile Lands Improved.

  • This update fixes another spawn bug, and it adds in several unused Thralls that were otherwise only gained via the Admin panel. Here are all the updates!

    1. Bug Fix: Fixed Forgotten Tribe Taskmaster spawns. I missed this one in my first pass throughs, wooops!

    2. Made Forgotten Tribe Alchemist share a spawn with the previously inaccessible Forgotten Tribe Cook

    3. Made Forgotten Tribe Carpenter share a spawn with the previously inaccessible Forgot Tribe Priest (Ymir. Yes I know it doesn't fit the lore technically, but hey the Priest hangs by an ale keg, too drunk off their mind's to remember which god they worship)

    4. Made Forgotten Tribe Fighter Tier3's have a chance to spawn Forgotten Berserker's instead

    5. Made the Tier 4 Forgotten Tribe Fighter share a spawn with the previously inaccessible Tier 4 Forgotten Tribe Archer

    6. Made Forgotten Tribe Taskmaster's share a spawn with the previously inaccessible Forgotten Tribe Entertainer thrall

    7. Made the Tier 4 Votaries Blacksmith share a spawn with the previously inaccessible Tier 4 Votaries Armorer (Yes, this also gives you previously inaccessible recipes too!)

    8. Made the Tier 4 Votaries Cook share a spawn with the previously inaccessible Tier 4 Votaries Smelter

    9. Made the Tier 4 Votaries Tanner share a spawn with the previously inaccessible Tier 4 Votaries Carpenter

    10. Made the Tier 4 Votaries Taskmaster share a spawn with the previously inaccessible Tier 4 Votaries Entertainer

Update: 25 Aug, 2018 @ 11:09pm

  • Update to increase spawn chance of the Exile Dafari Armoer 4 Grr Legbiter. Increased chance from 14% to 25%

Grr Legbiter shares the same single spawn with 6 other armorers, and just about every other crafting type Thrall in the game. Legbiter also is the only armorer that can make a certain type of flawless armor. It's a valid debate whether this modest buff should be raised even more, but we'll try it here for now.

Update: 5 Aug, 2018 @ 10:01pm

  • Changed secret shared spot so that it now has a 30% chance to spawn an Armorer Thrall. Up from 14%

  • Increased chance for Aquilonian and Stygian Armorers from 16% to 25% over the other types of Armorers that share there spawn.

We felt that since all the other Armorers had a chance to spawn in other locations around the map, and that Aquilonian and Stygian could only spawn here, that lessoning the grind here a bit would help.

Update: 26 Jul, 2018 @ 9:23pm

  • Bug Fix that brings back Derketo Priest into the shared spawn pool.

  • Set Derketo Priest to a higher percent chance to spawn then other shared spawn Thralls

  • Decreased further the chance that a cook or armorer will spawn in the shared spawn for Lemurian (less then 1% chance now) since they each have 2 of their own spawn points.

  • Changed Tier 4 chance in Lemurian shared spawn from 70% to 60%. 70% gave too much of a guarantee of a tier 4 Thrall on further testing.
