Elite Forces Unit: Special Operations:

-Helicopter Pilot and Crew Chief helmets now display properly.


BLUFOR: Allies:

-textures by RevanSithLord added to the Ranger. Existing blue camouflage updated.

-M2 Machine Gun (standard and minitripod), M252 81mm Mortar, and M119 Howitzer turrets with custom operators added.

-M151A2 Jeep (unarmed and M2), Ranger (unarmed and AT with custom skin by RevanSithLord), MTVR (standard, Ammo, Fuel, and Repair), M113A1 Armored Personnel Carrier, M113A3 APC (Mine Layer, Antitank), M163A1 Vulcan Air Defense System, M2A2 Bradley, M60A3 Patton Tank, M1A1SA Abrams Tank, Mobile Artillery, UH-1D (standard, Armed, Gunship, and Slick), AH-64D Apache Longbow, and CH-47 Chinook (standard and VIV) with custom crew, custom cargo, and composition group added.

-all M-16A2s have been replaced with M-16A1E1s, as research into Red Alert cutscenes has revealed Allies personnel were carrying M-16 rifles with forward assists incorporating “dogleg” designs – the M-16A2 did not have this feature.

-all Personnel Armor System For Ground Troops (Black) helmets replaced with M1 helmets, custom-made, black for standard personnel, and white with a red cross for the Medic, based on research into Command & Conquer: Red Alert cutscenes.

-custom-skinned M1 helmets (black and white with red cross) and field pack (white and white with red cross) added.

-medical supply standard is now 4 Basic Bandages, 2 Elastic Bandages, 2 Packing Bandages, 1 Morphine, 2 Tourniquets, and 1 Splint across all standard Allies personnel or more when possible.

-all Allies personnel primary weapon maximum magazine capacity increased from 5 to 7 when possible.

-Marine Rifleman now has the “Put” weapon deployment configuration added to entry, allowing for the deployment of explosives.

-Albert Einstein GPS, Radio, and Compass removed.

-Nikos Stavros medical supplies now include 2 Elastic and 2 Packing Bandages. Stavros asset now incorporates the “Put” weapon entry, allowing him to place explosives if necessary.

-Tanya Adams backpack upgraded from Field Pack to Tactical Backpack, as the Field Pack was discovered to be insufficient for carrying the amount of explosives initially configured for Tanya Adams. M183 Demolition Charge Assembly is now usable.

-Squad Leader M1911 Pistol removed.

-Machine Gunner M-60 maximum magazine capacity increased by 1 ammo box.

-Grenadier backpack ammunition count corrected; Grenadier now carries only 1 M714 Smoke White round, while carrying 10 additional M441 HE rounds.

-Technician Wirecutter and GPS removed.

-Defusal Kit added to Spy (Infiltrator)’s backpack.

-Spy (Disguised) maximum magazine capacity increased by 1.

-Helicopter Pilot and Crew Chief are now equipped with AN/PVS-7 Night Vision Goggles.


BLUFOR: Sudanese Armed Forces:

-Sudanese Armed Forces created in preparation for development of next scenario. Existing Sudan assets moved to separate config file.

-Rifleman (Type 56) and DShKM turret added.



OPFOR: Brotherhood of Nod:

-expanded texture source configuration entries for Desert Patrol Vehicle camouflage patterns.


INFOR: Armed Civilians:

-Armed Civilian 06 G17 replaced with Browning Hi-Power Pistol.

BLUFOR: Global Defense Initiative:

-African and European Combat Medic helmet adjusted to include a red cross.

-red cross circle patch added to GDI “gold” stitched patch and adopted by the relevant Combat Medics.

-German GDI Radioman patch corrected to adopt the proper stitched patch.

-all GDI patches utilizing the GDI symbol have been upgraded to available stitched patches.

BLUFOR: Global Defense Initiative:

OPFOR: Republic of Iraq:

-error in configuration of Iraqi Army Rifleman (SKS) caused a failure associated with defining a base class. This has been corrected and the unit is now usable.

BLUFOR: Operations Group Echo: Black Ops 9:

-Helicopter Pilot and Crew Chief helmets changed to SPH-4 (Grey/Visor) and SPH-4 (Grey).


BLUFOR: Global Defense Initiative:

-M113A3 Armored Personnel Carrier added to United States, European, and African Forces.

-2 Binoculars added to all UAZs and Hum-vees.

-all Helicopter Pilot and Crew Chief helmets updated to SPH-4 helmets with and without visors.

-all fixed-wing aircraft are configured for Fire Support – CAS Bombing in Zeus mode…but the feature does not appear to be functioning.

-all tanks now have Entrenching Tools in their cargoholds.



OPFOR: Brotherhood of Nod:

-M113A3, GTK Boxer (Empty, HMG, GMG), and Leopard 2A6 added with textures provided by F1R3STR1K3. Thank you!

-Desert Patrol Vehicle texture updated by F1R3STR1K3. Thank you!

-AH-64 Apache added with textures provided by RevanSithLord (with some adjustments required). Thank you!

-“SPH-4 (Black, Visor)” redesignated “SPH-4 (Black/Visor).”

-Toolkits have been removed from Desert Patrol Vehicles, as they are not required to change tires.

-2 Binoculars added to all UAZs.


OPFOR: Republic of Iraq:

-M80 (Iraq) added, based on report from SnipezTheII: Thank you!

Iraqi forces were known to utilize M80 and M90 helmets, which were derivatives of the U.S. M1 helmet. The Iraqi variant was known to be extremely weak and unable to provide proper protection against incoming rounds. INFOR: Tmassah Militia:

-Automatic Rifleman (RPK) maximum magazine count increased from 4 to 5.

-Tmassah militia personnel PASGT vest attributes adjusted to match those of GDI and Nod PASGT vests.

-all militia personnel no longer carry Fulton MX-991 Flashlights.

-map marker names amended to include full color label rather than just a single letter designation.

-Republican Guard map marker now includes the suffix of “(Iraq).”


OPFOR: Provisional Irish Republican Army:

-“IRA M-82 Sniper Rifle” redesignated “M82” to remain as close to default naming convention as possible. Rifle asset is actually the Community Upgrade Project M107.


OPFOR: Brotherhood of Nod (TW I):

-all Squad Leaders’ sidearm maximum magazine count increased from 3 to 4.

-Marksman (M-14) Binoculars removed.

-Technicians medical supplies expanded. GPS and compass removed. Purple Shirt Technicians now wear Police Holster and Radio “vests.”

-all Vehicle Crewman PASGT vests upgraded with GA Carrier Lite (Black, Nod) vests. Medical supplies adjusted. Maglite XL50 removed. Canteen count increased to 2. Maximum weapon magazine capacity set to 7.

-all Helicopter Pilot and Crew Chief medical supplies adjusted. All sidearm maximum magazine capacity reduced to a maximum of 4. Canteens reduced to 1. Crew Chief Binoculars removed.

-“Pilot Helmet (Black)” helicopter pilot helmets redesignated “SPH-4 (Black)” to conform with new CUP designation.

-Pilot maximum magazine count adjusted to a maximum of 4 and medical supplies adjusted. Entrenching Tools removed.

-FactionClass entries modified to incorporate icons and side notations. Effects are unknown.


Leadership:

-all medical supplies and canteens have been adjusted. Maximum magazine count for personnel carrying sidearms only reduced from 6 to 4 and likewise maximum canteen count reduced from 2 to 1.

-existing Kane asset redesignated “Kane (uniform).” A second variant of Kane has been created and features his more professional appearance wearing the PMC Clothes Shirt/Jeans (Black/Khaki). All canteens and medical supplies removed from the “professional” variant. Maglite XL50 added. The “uniform” variant features medical supplies.

-Seth Maglite XL50 added.

-Temple Officer/Guard smoke grenades removed.

-Kane, Seth, and Temple Guard/Officer items arranged into non-standard uniforms with respect to faction through “addItemToUniform” and “addItemToVest” entries respectively as needed.

Black Hand Elite:

-all personnel medical supplies adjusted, including Zubin Arkardi.

-Zubin Arkardi Maglite XL50 added to all loadouts.


European Forces:

-Officer (helmet and beret, pistol) G17 maximum magazine count increased from 4 to 7.

-Squad Leader and Fire Team Leader now carry Binoculars.

-Squad Leader G17 maximum magazine count reduced by 1.

-all Automatic Riflemen loadouts adjusted to move 2 Uzi magazines into backpack. New backpack assets have been created and assigned as required.

-Pilot erroneous entries creating extra smoke grenades removed.


African Forces:

-Makarov PM is now the standard sidearm of local forces and replaces all other sidearms of Officers, Squad Leaders, Engineers, Technicians, Vehicle Crews, and Pilots.


Middle Eastern Forces:

-M1911 is now the standard sidearm of local forces and replaces all other sidearms of Officers, Squad Leaders, Engineers, Technicians, Vehicle Crews, and Pilots.


Black Hand Elite:

-all medical supplies adjusted to match those carried by standard infantry personnel.

-all Infiltrators now equipped with Wirecutters.

-Infiltrator (Uzi) Maglite XL50 added.

-Marksman (M-14) Rangefinder removed.

-all Snipers Rangefinders removed to make Spotters more frequently utilized during operations wherein a two-man sniper team is preferred.

-Vehicle Crewman Rangefinder replaced with Binoculars.

-Helicopter Pilot is now equipped with a Rangefinder.

-Crew Chief Binoculars removed.

-Pilot Rangefinder replaced with Binoculars. Medical supplies adjusted and expanded. Entrenching Tool removed. Maximum G17 magazine count reduced from 4 to 3. Patch replaced with smaller Black Hand Elite patch.


OPFOR: Brotherhood of Nod (TW II):

-SCAR-L in use by Light Infantry (TW II) reverted to default weapon name without indicating specific attachments.


INFOR: CABAL Forces:

-Scorpion rifle in use by Cyborgs reverted to actual weapon designation without indicating any attachments in the custom weapon name itself.

-marker syntax now prefixed was per current naming convention.
