- Updated Asymmetrical Warfare to the R56 values.

- Moved SRD research 4 years down. First SRD techs are now 1940 tech.
- Grouped up Armored Cars and Tank doctrine buffs wherever appropriate to clean up the tooltips a bit.
- Grouped up Navy bonuses into categories.
- Colored all research unit categories light blue for some ease of reading.
MIO:
- ARG - Removed duplicate MIO’s
- BRA - Re-added Road legacy checks, so MIO’s will work for people without TOA.

- Fixed force coring having peace coring compliance and resistance requirements in addition to its normal requirements.

Update: 12 Mar, 2024 @ 9:26am

12/03/2024 Patch
Checksum: 2506

MIO:
- Cleaned up redundant generic companies. No need to both have “Escort Ship Manufacturer” and “Servicio de Construction[...]”.
- Swapped the conditions for Soviet MIO’s to prevent some MIO’s being gone after a civil war being lost.
- BRA & ARG - Localized MIO’s, threw away duplicate ones prioritizing vanilla ones, added the ability to unlock mio’s via vanilla focuses, instead of non-existent r56 ones.

OTHER:
- Fixed possible exploits in the “Offer Industrial Aid” diplomatic action.
  • It used to consider both trade civs and built civs, now only considers built civs.
  • Decision no longer adds building slots, for example be aware when using it if the recipient has only 3 building slots left, and you send via “send 5” option, 2 civs will be lost.
  • Civs removed from the donor country are now from random controlled states, as opposed to random core states.
Decision ensures at least one slot is free in the recipient country.

NATION SPECIFIC:
Chinese Warlords Shared Focus “Institute Cross-Border Raids” lowered from 70 to 35 days
ITA:
Fixed Ivanoe Bonomi missing a portrait, was assigned BBA one.

Update: 10 Mar, 2024 @ 11:38am

10/03/2024 Patch
Checksum: 3a8e

MILITARY:
- Hiked costs for special forces doctrines. 4th, 5th and 6th doctrine now 80 cost, 8th 9th and 10th 100.

RESEARCH:
- Cut down time for all winter and desert clothing techs. Removed the +0.01 recovery rate.

MIO:
- Generic MIO’s files updated to road standard.

OTHER:
- Added 2 new diplomatic actions to move 1 or 5 cisv from your country to a recipient. It will remove civs from the sender country and build a civ in a random core state of the recipient country.
- Coring Decisions performance improvement. Might not be noticeable, but the code was too ambitious in checking conditions for states.
- Peaceful Integration will now have lower requirements if the nation has a claim to the state.
- Peaceful Integration will refund 30pp if coring nation is a minor or has a claim to the state. (cursed, but the tooltip wouldn't make sense otherwise, so requires up front 50pp investment, with a 30pp refund, for an overall 20pp cost.)

NATION SPECIFIC:
GER:
- Starting unit composition now corresponds to Road. (500 more cas planes)
- Adopted the new navy tree for Germany from R56, with changes:
  • “The Anglo German Naval Agreement” will now send an event to England, asking for the naval treaty to be lifted. Denying re-armament lowers German opinion of Britain. If London refuses to lift restrictions, “Denounce the Agreement” will lower the British opinion of Germany.
  • “Emergency Naval Program” will now allow Germany to go into “Abandon Plan Z”.
USA:
- “Abandon Monroe Doctrine” was disabled until Warlider figures out how the usa stuff works in the new dlc.
- Starting unit composition now corresponds to Road.

24/02/2024 Patch
Checksum: 9aac

OTHER:
- Standard Focus Trees changed for Norway (AAT) Sweden (RT56) Denmark (RT56) Finland (AAT)

NATION SPECIFIC:
SOV:
- Added the Union of Sovereign Republics as USSR if going Democratic and picking “New Union Treaty” Focus
- Minor expansion to Right Opposition, allowing for 2 new leaders to be picked.
USA:
- Swapped “Worker Management Act” and “Accumulated Wealth Tax”. AWT’s -15% consumer goods factor was frankly too powerful to be that early in the focus.
- “Accumulated Wealth Tax” and “Fair Labor Standards Act” are now mutually exclusive.
- “Fight Jim Crow” is no longer exclusive to democracy. (so you tellin’ me, that to desegregate the armed forces I need communism, but to fight racism in the south I cannot be communist? sure.)
KOR:
- Changed the name of spawned units. (Using a historical name)
GER:
- Multiple Bug Fixes for the Communist Path.
- Enact War Communism now switches to total mobilization even on War economy.
- New Spirit added to War Communism. -20% construction on Civs, +15% mill construction.
- Fixed Saarland not being remilitarized via “Rheinland” focus.
JAP:
- Moved Oil from Tohoku to Hokuriku (Niitsu oil field) and Tokai (Sagara oil field) to better reflect historic oil excavation in Japan, considering that the earliest big scale oil drilling at Tohoku didn’t begin until 1958.
- Added a night-time naval combat focus to Japan to better show Japanese superiority in night-time naval strategy.
AST:
- New path to host the british monarchy in Australia, alternativley to that, one can put the Governor-General in charge.
PRC:
- Reshuffled the focus tree to make it make a bit more sense historically.
- Removed exclusivity between pro-soviet and anti-soviet trees, however doing the anti-soviet path locks the pro soviet one.
- Buffed “State Controlled Education” and “Adopt Soviet Style Education” to 7.5% and 10% research buff respectively.

Update: 5 Feb, 2024 @ 5:39am

05/02/2024 Patch
Checksum: 3346

RESEARCH:
- Fixed truck logistics companies not getting their research upgrades

OTHER:
- Doubled base fuel gain per oil.

NATION SPECIFIC:

JAP:
- Performed a jury-rigged rework of the monarchist and fascist paths. Now both Tosehia and Kodoha can choose to expand South or North, but picking a path the faction historically didnt advocate for will cause it to grumble with -10% stability and war support, as well as 10% increased party popularity for the party that preferred that expansion plan.
- Added a huge debuff to attack and defense against SOV, PRC and ROC on game start, removed via focus or if in a defensive war against any one of those 3. This is a deterrent for doing the monarchy path, “Showa Restoration” then going in on china anyways by just not doing Strike North focuses.
- Removed Taiwan as a target for “Japanization of Micronesia” and “Ease Native Restrictions”. (Taiwan is not part of Micronesia.) Reduced the timers to 7 and 14 days respectively.
- Buffed the focus to develop Korea, now gives 1 mil+1 inf and 1 civ+1 inf for 35 days.
- Added a separate focus to develop Taiwan with the same rewards as above.
- “Supremacy of Technology” now gives an additional research slot, instead of previous bonuses.
- Swapped a lot of bonuses below “Supremacy of Technology” to 1 year aheads.
- “Small Arms Modernisation” 3x100% reduced to 2x100%, focus time reduced to 50 days, down from 70.
- “Raise the Boeitai” now spawns 40x10w militia units instead of the old manpower bonus. Time reduced to 35 days, from 70.
- “Prepare for an Invasion” requirements were redone, now heavily relies on how outshipped Japan is, instead of just casualties.
- “Form the Volunteer Corps” now can be done when at war with any major, as long as its not CHI or PRC.
- “Armored Divisions” 3x100% armor research swapped to 1x100%
- “Diversified Tank Roles” 1x100% armor research swapped to 1x200%
- Democratic focus “Research Spending” moved to below “The Showa Constitution” (“why yes comrade, trust, we require more research before we solidify democratic rule!”)
- “Nationalization Mobilization Law” and “National Defence State” will now show the difference when swapping mobilization and economy laws, instead of just adding them. PP refund from already having the laws these two focuses swapped to reduced to 100, from 150.
- “Seek Allies” focus now allows for creating factions.
- “German Rocketry” reworked. Time cut down to 35 days, requirement changed to “not at war with germany” + “germany is fascist / neutrality”. Germany has to agree to share its tech via event, techshare now gives 35% research share per tech (up from 5%), Japan gets +25% bonus to rockets and jets (instead of +7 to all research) and a 1 year ahead for rockets.
- “Nishina-Okochi Directive” atomic research bonus changed from 1x100% to 1x300%.
- Fumimaro Konoe - No longer capable of advising himself after completing “National Mobilization Law”, after completing “NML” Konoe gets “Mobilization Proponent” trait as a country leader.
- Hideki Tojo - Added “Army Connections” trait as a country leader.
- 30% of the airfleet and navy, as well as 20% of the army and stockpiles will be transferred to Manchuria during the democratic civil war. (ratio of units the player fights remains the same.)
- If Korea is released via civil war, it will be armed to the teeth.

PRC:
- “Guerrilla Warfare” incorrectly had a consumer goods factor, instead of base. (had 10% consumer goods, instead of 2%.)
- “Guerilla Warfare” received -20% ic cost and -5% reliability for infantry equipment.
- Removed the “has to be at war” requirement from a lot of focuses. Only thing it realistically did was force PRC players into a phony war.
- Mao will lose the “Cornered Fox” trait if he controls more than 8 states, instead of more than 3. (Because of the low amount, previously Mao could be considered not cornered, while RoC has eaten Ma Clique, effectively cornering PRC.)
- Added focuses to “develop” Urumqi, Yarkand and Shigatse to give the Warlord-era PRC a bit more industry. (focuses done in a bit of a hurry, will flesh it out down the line.)
- Buffed “Expand the Taiyuan Arsenal” to give 5 factories total, from 3. Increased time to complete focus to 85 from 70.
- “Military Civilian Cooperation” will now give 3 factories in Yan’an.
All Chinese Nations:
- “Expand Industrial Capabilities” decision was modified. Decision now requires 4 requirements to be met, instead of all requirements (was impossible to reform the industry for warlords, prc included, until they annexed RoC. Even if they had 1945 tech.). Decision no longer gives 1 building slot in each controlled core state every time the decision is picked. This effect will occur only once per state, states with 5 factories or more will receive 2 slots, rest will receive 1 slot. Consumer goods cost was raised to 25% and pp gain was raised to 1 per day.

RAJ:
- “Declare Independence” decision should now always make India independent, regardless of the party that was backed in focuses.

GER:
- Commie Germany upgrade brought to you by @whiteboardalien

SOV:
- Molotov-Ribbentrop will now give a 50% reduction to import cost for German purchases. (12 resources per civ, instead of 8.) Later on will extend this so Soviets have cheaper german trade too.

SWE:
- R56 tree’s “Swedish-German Trade” idea was fixed, now gives a proper discount for German imports. Discount buffed to 2 resources more per civ import, and 4 resources more per civ. Swapped the “industry to overlord” for a 0.05 and 0.10 pp cost.

Update: 19 Jan, 2024 @ 9:56am
