PIRATE HOTFIX

- Vanilla piracy warnings appear again!
- Base empire piracy protection removed.
- Pirate suppression added to outposts.
- Pirate suppression added to defensive platforms.
- Increased trade protection on starbases.
- Defensive platforms doubled in strength and take 2 capacity.
- Starbases can have half the number of defensive platforms (rounded up).

Alpha Update 1

- New Xenodiplomacy Policy that allows you to decide whether or not you have Diplomats. Until then, your capital will have an extra Clerk.
- Xenodiplomacy unlocked in the Diplomacy Tradition. You can also select Gunboat Diplomacy to get a Strategos instead of a Diplomat if you'd rather carry a big stick than speak softly.
- New Criminal Justice Policy. Factions will no longer be concerned with your Trade Policy and will instead care about this. You will be able to choose between Common Law, State Police, Private Security, or Military Police.
- New Piracy Policy. Once you research Adaptive Bureaucracy, you'll be able to parley with pirates, making them neutral at the cost of trade routes.
- Attacking parlayed pirates will cause you to break the parley for 10 years.
- Maintenance Depot buildings can now be built on your planets to increase the pollution reduction and society research from your Custodians. They require require frontier techs to unlock.
- Custodians now produce a small amount of Society research.
- Society will appear on Gas Giants instead of Trade Value.
- Trade Value on ice asteroids substantially increased.
- Branch offices (almost) fully integrated into the new economy.
- Housing robot traits now affect robot armies instead.
- Crime is now based on happiness and will appear more when your pops aren't happy.
- Crime increased, but the effects of it have been reduced.
- Criminal production based on world specialization.
- Planetary deposits determine base pollution of planets.
- Mastery of Nature changes fixed.
- Improved pop migration algorithm.
- Improved AI. They are now better faster stronger.
- Increased performance. The game should run the same as game start for far longer.
- Lithoids fully implemented.
- Bioreactor added for Lithoids.
- Life Seeded can get guarenteed gaia worlds.
- Tons more localization.

- Galactic mineral generation reduced slightly.
- Crime modifiers rebalanced and criminals per pop removed.
- Starting blocker deposits now correctly create pollution.
- Natural blockers on new worlds now correctly reduce pollution.
- Several missing graphics were added.
- Trade Stations have no collection / protection range at the moment - be warned
