OVERVIEW
This patch pretty much nerfs Sonic. Also, this is his last balance change before a MAJOR rework.
GENERAL CHANGES
-GREATLY decreased initial dash speed.
*Sonic’s “downhurt” sprite is now properly aligned.
+Sonic now is Kirby compatible. Sonic gives Kirby his Down Special. He also has a little hud icon for Kirby.

GROUNDED ATTACKS
DTILT
-Dtilt no longer hits behind you, and hits in front of you.
+Dtilt has less knockback, and has better combo potential.
I’m gonna be honest, I’m gonna rework this move in his next major update. This move is useless
UTILT
-Increased startup and endlag.
+Lifetime of the hitbox has been increased by 2 frames.
+Does more damage(4 > 5).
+Does less knockback scaling( .45 > .4). This allows it to combo more.

AERIAL ATTACKS
FAIR
*The sweetspot of the move (the spike) now has a different sound effect.
-Damage of sourspot is weakened. (7 > 5)
-Damage of sweetspot is weakened. (9 > 6)
-Increased startup and endlag.
-Increased landing lag.
UAIR
+-Hitbox adjusted to match the animation. This new hitbox hits more above Sonic, and less in front of him.
DAIR
+- Dair now has a sourspot.
+- Dair now sends directly down at a 270 angle rather than a 290 angle.
-Increased startup.
BAIR
-Increased startup.
-Increased endlag.
-Increased landing lag.

STRONG ATTACKS
FSTRONG
+Fstrong now gives Sonic a bit of horizontal movement when he uses it. Not much, but a little bit.
DSTRONG
+Dstrong now has two hitboxes. One in front, one behind.
USTRONG
+Ustrong is now a multihit move, similar to Sonic’s Up Smash in Brawl, SSB4, and Ultimate.

SPECIALS
NSPCEIAL
I’m not gonna put changes here but I just wanna say that this move has pretty much no synergy with Sonic’s entire kit whatsoever
FSPECIAL
+-Fspecial reverted to how it worked in day 1. This means you can’t spam it in the air.
-Sweetspot is harder to hit with.
-Sweetspot does not put the opponent into Clairen stun anymore. This makes the move pretty much useless, but that’s what his eventual rework is for.
DSPECIAL
+- HG_FINAL_BASE_KNOCKBACK was added.
-Increased endlag.

Sonic has had a number of things changed on him due to recent feed back.
+ means buff, - means nerf, and +- is mixed, and * is cosmetic.

GENERAL CHANGES
+- Initial dash speed is now matched with his dash speed. However, his dash speed has been lowered.
- Sonic jumps a tiny bit lower.
* Rolling animations are a bit smoother.

GROUNDED ATTACKS

FTILT
* Forward Tilt has a new animation.
- Ftilt has significantly weakened kill power.
+ Ftilt is now more of a "get away from me" tool. It can also be used as a combo starter.

DTILT
+ The hitbox of this move matches more closely to the animation.

UTILT
- The hitbox of this move matches more closely to the animation.
- Damage nerf. 5% > 4%

AERIALS

NAIR
+ Hitbox has been increased, making all the hits link together better.

FAIR
* An issue with color swaps not showing up on his shoes have been fixed.

DAIR
- Sonic can no longer move horizontally when using this move. This is to bring his dair to be more in line with other stall-then-fall dairs.
- Landing lag increased from 1 frame to 16.
- Hitpause increased from 1 frame to 5 frames.
+ The hitbox now matches up with the animation.
+ This move is no longer a suicide move, and you can jump out of it after the animation finishes.

BAIR
+- The hitbox now better matches the animation.

STRONGS

FSTRONG
* Sonic now winds up his hand before punching.
+- Hitbox size adjusted to match the animation.
* The sound effect when he hits the opponent has been changed.
+ This move has better knockback.

USTRONG
- The hitbox now matches the move properly.

SPECIALS

NSPECIAL
+- Startup lag increased while endlag decreased.

FSPECIAL
+ This no longer puts Sonic into pratfall.
- However, this move has Sonic go a bit downwards in the air to compensate for that.

USPECIAL
+ The tornado how hits people into hitstun.
* The tornado now plays a sound effect when it hits an opponent.
- The move gives slightly less vertical height.
