Update: 10 Jul @ 9:46pm

- Mainly a fix for adding Constantinople to the Cities of Wonder script and also fixing the script that set themata administrative levels as they apparently were all broke

Update: 6 Jul @ 5:54pm

- Various bug fixes from Discord reports
- A lot of file cleanup for my localization files

- China and the areas held by the Jin/Liao revamped to align more closely with how All Under Heaven will handle titles in the region. This is a work in progress still but I wanted to get the mod updated to fix some bugs that were reported a month ago.

Unlike Paradox I will not use a one size fits all de jure structure for the entire time period and thus the ducal and kingdom de jure structure (though mostly kingdom) will vary based on the ruling dynasties. Quite a lot of new counties and baronies were added throughout the region to add every Zhou of the Song Dynasty and most the Zhou of the Jin in future Manchuria though this was still done with some idea of balance in mind so many of them Zhou only have 2-3 baronies.

The general gist of it is:

# Hegemony - Eventual new higher tier title for China
# Empires - Once the DLC comes these will be done
# Kingdoms - Tang - Based on 5 Kingdoms/5 Dynasties period to allow for a leadup to historicallish breakup. Song - Song Circuits (Jin Circuits where it rules later). Yuan - Ming Provinces. Why the Ming? Because the Yuan provinces were ungodly huge and work better as empire tier titles and the Yuan wasn't very long lived
# Duchies - For the Tang these will be their circuits and commanderies. These will persist into later periods though that's more for gameplay purposes and are generally added/removed to shape the above Kingdoms
# Counties - Prefectures/Zhou. The maps Zhou are generally based on the Song Dynasty
# Baronies - 'Counties'

Once this is complete the next goal will be to somewhat more detail future Manchuria as its province density is a little too low and re-do Korea as its province density is also overly low.

Update: 5 Jun @ 7:59pm

- File cleanup and various title and character history edits. China is in the middle of me editing titles but wanted to upload this to deal with alleged crashes that I may have inadvertently fixed since then (since I do not crash on loading any dates). This update may cause some small clothing issues if you use EPE as I did add some cultures for Southeast Asia.

Update: 1 Jun @ 7:38pm

Update: 1 Jun @ 7:16pm

- The Great Steppe has been expanded to the steppe that were adjacent to it to go into the Pannonian Plain and the steppe of northern Tibet. The steppe regions themselves have been re-done into north, south, east, and west regions
- Further cleanup of tributaries in every bookmark. Cleaned up title and character history where needed as well
- Cleaned up holdings in bookmarks and incorrect government assignments to try and rectify occurrences of issues like rulers who should be feudal being tribal
- Edited various landed titles to break up some empires and altered the colors of Asia to be more in line with what Paradox is doing with All Under Heaven (Song, Liao, Jin, Tang etc. are based on their Wuxing Element).
- Updated to current MHG and CoW3 versions
- Started a cleanup of my localization files to deal with duplicates. Let me know if the script broke any localizations

Update: 23 May @ 11:41am

Update for Khans of the Steppe

- Removed Mandala Government - It added too much extra work when updating, was prone to having issues, and wasn't that noticeably different from feudal. Paradox will add their own version in the DLC later this year

- Removed New Terrains - Involved a ton of edited files for very little noticeable effect on the game especially when terrain doesn't have much impact on the game in the first place. You probably didn't even know this mod added terrains

- Removed Silk Road - Was literally nothing but modifiers of a long dead mod. Something dealing with the Silk Road will be added to the DLC later this year

- Map cleanup and changes for Central Asia, Tibet, and the Sami Regions with the addition of many more wastelands. Now the uninhabited desert of Tibet no longer has the same province density as France

- Cleaned up the title history and characters for the steppe. This was the main reason for the update taking longer

- Added a mountain pass to the eastern Alps rather than act like the Alps was impenetrable

- Tributaries mostly ported over from the old T4N tributaries the mod had before. This will be a work in progress over time. For later dates yes I know the Chagatai, Golden Horde, and Ilkhanate were directly under the Khagan but due to limitations of the tributary system they need to be tributaries (or independent) or they can't have tributaries of their own.

- Updated files for RICE compatibility and updated mod files for integrated mod updates for MHG, and CoW3 and with that the removal of Holding Sprawl as it was a major performance issue. Square walls for China will return once MHG+CoW3 updates. The EPE compatch will be over the weekend

There should be noticeable performance improvements with this update. Report issues on Discord

Update: 5 Apr @ 3:19pm

- Mainly just a version number update

Update: 31 Mar @ 1:24pm

Update: 31 Mar @ 10:22am

Update: 30 Mar @ 12:03am

- Some bug fixes from my error log
- Likely some performance improvement from me changing some graphics settings for trees and when they disappear as you zoom out
- Finished going through religions and fixing inconsistencies, setting syncretism on various faiths that should have it, and consolidating some of the pagan 'religion' files for Asia
