Update 0.4.0
New:
  • Infantry models for the three former White Army states (Magadan, Chita and Amur), as well as Tyumen, and the Siberian Black Army.
  • M14 model for the USA.
  • The WRRF's puppets now share models with them.
Fixes:
  • American troops will now use weapons that better correspond to their tech tree. Current progression: M1 Garand > M14 > M16.
  • RK Nede- Nope. RK Neth- Nope. The Dutch RK now uses German models, as (presumably) intended by the TNO team.

Update 0.3.0
New:
  • Infantry models for the Aryan Brotherhood, Komi and Samara.
  • Special light infantry models for many of the existing Russian factions, featuring a crude facsimilie of a pilotka.
  • In preparation for the Great Trial, Omsk's infantry have started wearing gas masks. Unfortunately they didn't pack enough to share with their light infantry.
Fixes:
  • SAF and FEN motorised should use vehicles properly now.
  • Fixed weird UVs on pilotka style hats.
  • And the LORD did see that the normal maps of his soldiers were incorrect. And by His hand the LORD did fix them, and saw that they were acceptable.
  • The WWRF are less nostalgic now, and will not continue using semiautomatic rifles long after everyone else has figured out how to build Kalashnikovs.

  • Combined units like motorised and cavalry now use custom models. Super noticeable for nations like Burgundy, where most units are motor/mechanised.
Fixes:
  • M16 should now use correct normal maps.

  • Models for Burgundy, Tomsk, HMMLR and the Divine Mandate of Siberia.
  • Americans have been given M16s, but they're not so sure about them, and won't use them until you've researched the M16A2.
Changes:
  • All Russian light infantry should now use the Tokarev.
Fixes:
  • All Russian light infantrymen have been introduced to the concept of semiautomatic weapons, and will no longer manually bolt their Tokarevs.

New:
  • Unique model for Irkutsk's elite infantry, loosely resembles an NKVD officer, hat and all.
  • Hooked up visual levels: Units will now hold weapons based on what you've got researched. Currently only supports the three Soviet-based factions up until they research the AKM, at which point all bets are off.
Changes:
  • Normal Irkutsk infantry no longer carry pouches, to better differentiate them from other Soviet-based factions.
  • Omsk's light infantry now hold Tokarev rifles.
Fixes:
  • Fixes towards the issue with automatic weapons showing particle effects for no reason while attacking.
  • Normal maps for South African infantry are now working.
  • Removed overlapping faces on the AK-47's grip and magazine.
  • The AK-47's normal map is no longer literally just random noise I generated because I don't get how to do normals the Paradox way.

Another pointless attempt at making it work. Turns out, it worked fine all along, but if you've got a local and a steam version of the same mod, they don't play nice.
