  • Resolved initial incompatibility differences between version 1.9.4 and Vanilla CK3s 1.9.0 update. Please report any further issues!
  • Modified the Handgonne innovation's research conditions, you no longer have to wait until the year 1250 to start unlocking this gunpowder MaA. If you've already discovered gunpowder and you're in the Late Medieval, you can start unlocking right away.

Minor Update - 'v1.9.4'

ADDITIONS
  • Added two new innovations for the Han culture, and it's divergent types, that add two new MAA, the Firelancer and the Wasp's Nest.
  • Added the Field Weapon MAA type as a recruitable late-era regiment for use in battles. The default MAA for this type is the Culverin.
CHANGES/FIXES
  • Resolved incompatibility differences between version 1.9.0-1.9.1 and Vanilla CK3s 1.7.0 Bastion update.
  • Modified base values and modifiers for the Gunnery Range building change. This should now appropriately balance this building for the base game.
  • Modified the base stack value for the Handgonner to 50. Reducing this value to emulate how costly this new weapon was early on. Also assists with balance in early-era combat.

  • Changed how all Gunpowder Cultural MAA innovations handle hybrid/diverged cultures. Now if you diverge or make a hybrid culture, as long as you retain the proper heritage, you will still retain your prized Janissaries or Tercios.

CHANGES/FIXES
  • Changed innovation & script value file references that included culture_group to utilize the updated data type, has_cultural_pillar.
  • Changed the entire suite of Men-At-Arms included and/or changed to now use can_recruit wherever applicable. This fixes the earlier bug causing Cultural MAA and Unique MAA to appear at all times. You must now unlock them before recruiting them.

  • Added two extra tiers to the Gunnery Range chain of buildings for extra stat bonuses to the Arquebusiers.
CHANGES/FIXES
  • Modified the toughness winter maluses on all regiment types from -2 to -3.
  • Renamed several localization files to their proper focuses.
  • Updated the Baltic Gunner artwork to something more visible and vibrant. (Credit to Wraithdt from DeviantArt)

Patch Update - 'v1.8d'

ADDITIONS
  • None!
CHANGES/FIXES
  • Modified the trigger localization for the required_year and discovered_gunpowder triggers. The localization is now clearly defined and capitalized, following PDXs formatting norms.
  • Modified the innovation_handgonne to include the discovered_gunpowder_trigger and now actively use it.
  • Fixed some minor localization issues with the Korean files. (There was a typo on a file name! Oops.)
