Decreased spawn density of common infected per nav area, infected will now be scattered across a bigger area

Corrected custom car alarm panic event script, the common limit is now set to the intended value

Car models have been replaced with the original L4D1 variants

Movement is no longer slowed when walking through water

Navigation mesh improvements

New measures have been added to all mandatory panic events. All players (and survivor bots) now must be within the nearby area to activate buttons

Changes have been made to the post-processing;

New colour correction for main outdoors

New colour correction for the Subway

New colour correction for the Sewer

New colour correction for the Hospital

New colour correction for Checkpoints




Removed custom L4D1 themed hints and reverted back to the default game instructor hints

Fixed a missing Boomer vomit disruption sound

Fixed the rotating sky entities. Originals didn't even work, lightning strikes now move with it

Added level end music similar to L4D1M: Dead Air

Car alarms can no longer be activated at any distance, the distance is now doubled from the default value (700 > 1400)

Decreased rain particle density from 5 to 1

Fixed character order on the loading screen

Added illusionary 'tankwalls' (for infected) to breakable walls on all maps that have them

Replaced every single model on all maps in their exact position with their original fade min/max distances, this took more time than you would think, and you would never have known if it wasn't mentioned here

Added breakable glass panes to all bus stops

Decreased spawn density of Defibrillators and un-important melee weapons

Added new Gascan, Propane and Oxgygen Tanks to each map exept on '4: The Hospital'

Removed double M60 and Grenade Launcher spawns per map

Replaced metal gun cabinet model with dlc3 variant which uses a more natural collision mesh

Fixed some colour correction entities using incorrect lightning strike variants

Removed custom helicopter pilot model

Removed custom bus model

Most custom models have had their upscaled textures reverted to the default textures to save memory

Recompiled all custom models removing a sub-directory to avoid character limit

Added unused thunder sound effects to all maps

Removed experimental minigun sounds

Removed commented sound lines from level sounds files due to developer console error messages

Removed defibrillators from the item_spawn pool that would also spawn pain pills and adrenaline, defibrillators now have their own fixed spawns per map

Added support for Versus mode



Versus changes:

Added more infected ladders

All alarmed cars are always automatically enabled

Every starting saferoom always contains 2 melee weapons

The elevator doors on '5: Rooftop Finale' are always open

The extra item spawns on '5: Rooftop Finale' will not spawn however there are a few temporary health items next to the hamradio

Each map has a fixed weapon spawn cluster in the same place:

1: The Apartments - gun locker through the first broken wall (auto-shotguns only / 1 count)
2: The Subway - on the metal table next to the subway traincar
3: The Sewers - in the room you drop in to after activating the lift
4: The Hospital - on the bed beside the 4th floor elevator
5: Rooftop Finale - Default

Each map has a fixed ammo spawn:

1: The Apartments - on the police car after exiting the alley
2: The Subway - on the table as you enter the generator room
3: The Sewers - in the room you drop in to after activating the lift and another in the sewers pipe room before entering the tunnels
4: The Hospital - on the bed beside the 4th floor elevator
5: Rooftop Finale - Default



Added an ammo spawn on the police car after exiting the alley on '1: The Apartments'

Added two extra 3-player rescue closets on '1: The Apartments'

Added some Gascans and Propane Tanks to '1: The Apartments'

A missing fire extinguisher sign has been added inside the building of opposite the police car om '1: The Apartments'

Corrected saferoom door armor model on '1: The Apartments'



The Holly Street Station wall texture has been applied to the oppisite side of the stairs when exiting the saferoom on '2: The Subway'

Enabled a spark entity in a subway traincar on '2: The Subway'

Slightly re-worked the Generator Room on '2: The Subway' by moving the generators to the center and by modifying the barricades to fit



Minor background improvements to the beginning of '3: The Sewers'

Added a small 'background' section to Mercy Hospital's rooftop on '3: The Sewers', visable after exiting the sewer outlet

Changed the area of the hospital grounds again on '3: The Sewers'

Replaced the police car at the gas station with a standard sedan on '3: The Sewers'

Fixed an item spawn clipping inside of a shelf on '3: The Sewers'



Added four Tier 2 weapon spawn templates on '4: The Hospital'

Fixed a black breakable infected wall in the construction area of '4: The Hospital'

The random chance of a Special Infected spawning in the elevator on '4: The Hospital' has been changed. This is now controlled by the AI Director on how well you are playing the map. You may or may not experience a spawn. For example, if you are playing very well the Director may spawn a Tank. If you aren't doing well the Director may spawn a Special Infected, or won't spawn anything

Defibrillators spawn chance is higher on '4: The Hospital'

Added a few models to fill up empty spots lacking decoration on '4: The Hospital'

Improved the alternate elevator shaft on '4: The Hospital'

Fixed item spawns clipping inside of a wire spool on '4: The Hospital'

Removed a ceiling vent in a room close to the elevator on '4: The Hospital' to give players a new less infected sided hold out position



The minigun on '5: Rooftop Finale' now has 3 possible spawn positions picked at random

Added a few extra Gascans and Propane Tanks to '5: The Rooftop Finale'

Corrected 'Finale Item Cluster Count' in map parameters for '5: Rooftop Finale' - all grouped items should now spawn together

During the outro on '5: Rooftop Finale', there is a 50% chance the pilot will talk to the survivors

Added a few extra item spawns on '5: Rooftop Finale'

Added 4 extra first-aid kits to the room containing the hamradio on '5: Rooftop Finale'

Added more NPC clips to the rooftop on '5: Rooftop Finale' to prevent common infected from becoming stuck

The first ladder in the elevator shaft on '5: Rooftop Finale' has been re-positioned due to repeated bot navigation errors and because of common infected climbing thin air

Added unused Pilot dialogue to the radio on '5: Rooftop Finale'

The small cluster of health items by the gun cabinet has been moved to a crate left of the hamradio on '5: Rooftop Finale'

Disabled slowmotion towards the end of the escape cutscene on '5: Rooftop Finale'

The elevator shaft doors glow to show an optional path (when available) on '5: Rooftop Finale'
