Reduced fast reload speed while incapacitated on the insane version

Update: 15 Nov, 2020 @ 12:06pm

Reverted back to original intended horde settings, however I have reduced the size of all panic events and shortened the finale by removing a panic wave

Buffed the minigun for both versions of the campaign

Added back Insane mode!

Please note that all these features listed below only apply to this campaigns 'insane' version! They do not overlap on any other campaigns, so don't worry about these affecting game-play elsewhere.

Infected take longer to break down doors, so make sure to close doors behind you!

All shotguns, especially automatic ones, are insanely effective at taking out a Tank

Special Infected burn faster when set on fire with any incendiary. Use this to your advantage! Incendiary ammo packs are very, very effective with this.

The Tank emits special unused blood effects when shot

Explosive ammo bullet force has been doubled, this should assist you taking out hordes, especially with a shotgun

Laser sights make your weapons slightly more accurate than the original game setting does

Car alarms can be triggered from any distance, close or far, so watch your fire!

The car alarm sound will last for 60 seconds to fit with the horde sizes

Incapacitated survivors can now crawl

Survivor incapacitated health has been increased from the game's default of 300 to 500

Incapacitated survivor decay rate has been lowered from the game's default of 3 to 1

Incapacitated survivor hopeless decay rate has been increased from the game's default of 12 to 50 (if everyone is incapacitated - meaning level failure - you will die faster)

Survivor ledge grab health has been increased from the game's default of 300 to 500

The amount of times a player can be incapacitated before dying has been doubled from the game's default of 2 to 4

Survivors rescued from closets will spawn with their last used tier 2 weapon, rather than a downgraded tier 1 weapon

Survivors revived from incapacitation will have 100 temporary health, rather than the game's default of 30

Incapacitated survivors have increased accuracy and reload speeds than normal, I halved the values to give you a better chance. I also fixed the tilt angle of the screen because it was wrong

Survivor crouch speed has been increased

Adrenaline effects last for 60 seconds, rather than the game's default of 15

Adrenaline will give you 50 temporary health instead of the game's default of 25

Adrenaline effects will revive and heal survivors in half the original time

Adrenaline effects will make you run very faster than normal, good use to outrun the horde!

Pain Pills temporary health will decay slower at half the game's original speed (it lasts longer)

Pain Pills will give you 80 temporary health, instead of the game's default of 50

Melee weapons have slightly increased range to compensate for the mass amount of infected surrounding you

Melee weapons collateral shove count has been doubled from 16 to 32 (background infected stunned by melee attacks)

Survivors revived with the defibrillator or rescued from closets will spawn with 80 health instead of the default 50

The Chainsaw now does more damage, has increased range and has a larger cone angle meaning more infected next to you will be affected by the chainsaw, though this comes at the cost of attracting more infected from further distances

Vomitjars can now affect survivors, so take care when throwing one!

Vomitjar effects on infected last for 30 seconds

Vomitjar effects on survivors last for 30 seconds

Vomitjar has increased splash radius

The reserve ammo capacity for every weapon has been doubled from the game's default values

The reserve ammo capacity also gives access to reloading the M60, unless you have a script that fixes the broken reload, I recommend reloading the weapon before the capacity hits 0 or the weapon will drop

The minigun has been given an insane buff! It's way more accurate, does very high damage to all kinds of infected, especially the Tank! Use this wisely however as when it overheats it takes 1 minute to cool down!

Boomers have increased health from the game's default of 50 to 250

First-aid kits now heal 100% of your injuries from the game's default of 80%

Tanks take 30 seconds to die when set on fire on Easy, Normal and Advanced difficulty

Tanks take 60 seconds to die when set on fire on Expert difficulty

The Tank now has double health from 4000 (on Easy) to 8000. Save your molotovs or incendiary ammo packs!

The Witch now has double health from 1000 to 2000 (shotguns and melee weapons are still effective)

Shoving/pushing is now infinite, you can do it as many times as you want without cooldown (does not work on Realism)

Shoving/pushing is now faster, you can do this slightly faster than default

Survivor bots can deal friendly fire damage to the player

Survivor bots wont shoot through the player anymore, preventing annoying screen shake

Survivor bots will now take a melee weapon, a total of 2 bots can carry melee, if you pick one up, they will drop theirs when they can

Common Infected do not slow you down as much when they hit you

Update: 13 Nov, 2020 @ 8:13am

Reduced horde sizes again, the sizes are now slightly less than the games default values.

Update: 9 Nov, 2020 @ 5:25am

Vscript corrections and added specific limits for special infected spawns

Update: 9 Nov, 2020 @ 5:13am

Added spawn range to general settings Vscript to make zombies spawn further throughout the map, rather than feeling like they spawn too close around every corner

Removed custom coffeeammo model

Added 'Insane' version which you can select in the campaigns menu as 'L4D1 Classics: No Mercy (Insane)'

Insane mode is recommended for those who can take everything the game can throw at them, with the original game common limit of 30 increased to 100, horde and panic event sizes greatly increased (but not infinite) and an intense finale holdout. Decent computer specifications likely recommended.

Update: 8 Nov, 2020 @ 3:06pm

Fixed an error in the infected settings Vscript
