~~~Version 0.8.1 Update~~~

New Additions:

  • Added a new Power card, Encore. Encore is a 2(1) cost Rare that saves a copy of every card you play during your turn, then activates the effect of them at the start of your next turn in order of most to least recently played. The amount of stacks of Encore dictates how many cards it will remember, and it does not wear off between turns.
  • Korean translation has been provided, courtesy of Tsurumaki Maki. As StSLib does not yet have kor localization at the time of writing this, the StSLib keywords were left in English, pending that mod having a translation.
  • Added new keyword: Piercing / Piercing Damage. If an attack with piercing hits an enemy with Block, that enemy loses an equal amount of hp.
  • Added a new mod setting to disable the seagull effects. Affects Jonathan Rush, Cloud of Seagulls, and Little Gull. No longer will you have to suffer through strange seagull vfx is you desire to not.

Balance:
  • Little Gull buff - Now deals 2 to 7 damage at the beginning of you turn AND every time you play a Jonathan Rush or Cloud of Seagulls. Like before, this bonus attack counts as Thorns damage, and does not scale with Strength or Vigor. This might too powerful, but it will be readdressed later if it needs a nerf. For now, enjoy =]
  • Long Distance Shot buff - Now does Piercing Damage.
  • Plushie Mark rework/buff - Now does Piercing Damage if the damage was under 7, rather than making the attack ignore block. This results in a fun synergy with other low damage Piercing attacks, as they will get a second piercing damage hit. This should also fix the inconsistency problems (Reported by Blurred Aspect).
  • Subspace Tunnel nerf/fix - Now can no longer swap places with other Subspace Tunnels to prevent some infinite loop exploits.

Bug Fixes:
  • Fixed Evil Spy Work Execution from having incorrect upgrade pluralization text.
  • Jonathan Rush no longer causes a crash when played if there are no valid targets. (Reported by CrownBird)
  • Mix Phenomenon+ should no longer hang with only 1 exhausted Gift Card. (Reported by Sagil)
  • Cloud of Seagulls+ now properly hits 3 times, not 2. (Reported by Sagil)
  • Fixed some of the issues with Gift cards not working until a turn has passed if they were directly created or added to the hand without actually being drawn. Gifts that expressly have an On Draw effect have not yet been fixed.

Known Issues:
  • Piercing Keyword and relevant changes have not been translated to Simplified Chinese yet. I pushed the update to clear up the critical crash bugs, and have not yet heard back from the translator. Will Hotfix the translation once I hear back.

~~~Version 0.8.0 Hotfix 2~~~

Balance:

  • Nice Present rework - Draw 2 (upgrades to 3) cards, which exhausts. Replaced old Norma 3 effect with a new Norma 2 effect: Drawn cards will Retain this turn. This makes the card more useful in general and also fixes a critical bug which caused crashing sometimes (Reported by Blurred Aspect).

Changes:
  • Slightly changed the logic for both Ambush's and Assault's block ignoring actions. They now both do the same action instead of 2 different ones with similar effects.

Bug Fixes:
  • Ambush now only ignores block when it passes it's Norma check (Reported by Blurred Aspect).
  • Added Exhaust back into the description of Saki's Cookie (Reported by Moon Moon).
  • Dash is now properly named Dash! (Reported by Tsurumaki Maki).
  • Binding Chains that have decayed now properly keep the decay text in the exhaust pile.

New Additions:

  • Nothing yet, however, there will soon be 4 new cards added! They were already pre-translated in the previous update, and are being worked on currently =]

Changes:
  • Updated Simplified Chinese translation as there were some mistakes.

Bug Fixes:
  • Fixed a crash related to Subspace Tunnel when it is played by a different card while not in your hand. Rather specific issue, but with the advent of a new card, Encore, this is going to be a much more realistic occurrence.
  • Changed some internal formatting that prevented Norma, Transformative, Special, etc. from being translatable. They are not yet translated, but now they actually can be.

~~~Version 0.8.0 Update~~~

New Additions:

  • Simplified Chinese support has been provided, courtesy of an anonymous user! They pointed out that a few keywords were left in English, but all descriptions of them were translated
  • Cloud of Seagulls and Jonathan Rush now have custom VFX. If they are obnoxious they will be changed.
  • Added Optimized and Direct vs. Indirect tooptips.
  • Added 3 new config settings for random battle chatter, these can be enabled/disabled and have the probability set if desired. Enable all 3 at 100% for that true 100% Orange Juice at 4X Speed feeling. Or maybe don't.
  • Sweet Battle - New gift card! Acts as a generator for Saki's Cookies, and while in your hand, drawing a Cookie will immediately consume it and apply a stronger effect.

Balance:
  • Windy Enchantment nerf/buff - Now Uncommon rarity (was Common), but now has 3 uses (was 2).
  • Extended Photon Rifle buff - Now scales with Vigor instead of ignoring it.
  • Stiff Crystal nerf - Now gives 0 Block by default (was 6), Norma 1 still gives 4 Block though.
  • Awakening of Talent nerf - Upgraded version now only draws 1 card (was 2).
  • Evil Spy Work Execution nerf - Upgraded version now draws 1 card (was 2, though this wasn't obtainable normally).
  • Accelerator rework - Completely new effect, now adds a power that adds additional copies of any cards created during combat. Should work with most modded content.
  • Shield Counter rework - Now is a Skill that adds a hefty amount of block and a new power: If you completely block an incoming attack, the damage is reflected to the attacker.
  • Mixed Phenomenon rework: Now recharges a random (upgrades to selectable) exhausted Gift Card and adds it to your draw pile.
  • Subspace Tunnel rework - This card is now a 2 (upgrades to 1) Cost which allows you to pick any card in the Draw/Discard/Exhaust piles and swap positions with it. The swapped card costs 0 for the turn. If you swap it with a card in the exhaust pile it will be considered exhausted, but it will not exhaust when used to swap positions with a discard or draw pile card.
  • 100% Orange Juice now works with Sacred Bark, and the negative side effects are drastically reduced.
  • Another Ultimate Weapon buff - Now gives X+Norma Strength and 5(X+Norma) Block.
  • Intelligence Officer buff/rework - Now a 1 cost (was 2), that gives 3 Vigor for each Attack (was 5), 3 Steady for each Skill (was 5 Block), and 1 Card for anything else (was only for power cards before).
  • (Star) Blasting Light buff - The target now loses both hp AND max hp.
  • Star Blasting Fuse rework - Now places an invisible bomb on an enemy and shuffles itself back into the draw pile. When drawn, ALL enemies with Bombs lose HP. Might be nerfed in a future patch, as it is currently quite strong, even for a rare card.
  • Long Distance Shot nerf - Draw effect removed as a regular effect and now replaces the Norma effect. The effect now requires Norma 3 (was 2), and has limited uses per combat. As a buff however, it now is added to your hand any time your Norma increases.
  • Big Rocket Cannon buff - Now does 16 Splash Damage when upgraded (was 15, not a big change, just wanted it to be an even number).
  • Air Strike buff - Now deals 20 (upgrades to 30) Splash Damage to ALL enemies (previously only upgraded to 25 damage, and did not do Splash Damage).
  • Saki's Cookie rework - Now triggers one of 3 random effects: healing, Vigor, or Steady. Healing lowered to 2 (upgrades to 3), and optimizes what effect happens at Norma 2. It can be generated by the new card gift card, Sweet Battle.
  • Unlucky Charm buff - The temporary dex loss is now applied to all targets (was previously just the player).


Changes:
  • Cloud Of Seagulls and Jonathan Rush have new targeting logic.
  • Jonathan Rush and Evil Spy Work Execution now have faster animations.


Bug Fixes:
  • Invisible Bomb no longer triggers Thorns, Flight etc. (Reported by Blurred Aspect)
  • Bloodlust now correctly deals 4 damage at all Norma level. (Reported by Sagil)
  • Added a new system for handling Norma effects. This should resolve inconsistency issues. (Reported by Sagil)
  • Unlucky Charm can now be played when it has no uses, so you can get rid of it should you pull it out of exhaust. (Reported by Blurred Aspect)
  • Norma Break no longer triggers Sadistic Nature 10-15 time per enemy, now triggers it once.
  • Beyond Hell is now an exhausting Skill, not a power.
  • Assault and Ambush have a new block ignoring mechanic, and should behave more consistently.
  • Gift Cards that have an On Exhaust effect should no longer activate the effect twice.

Updated version to 0.7.2.

Big Fixes:
Deploy Bits no longer gives more Vigor than it should at Norma 4+ if you have more Block than the enemy is intending to hurt you for. (Thanks RabbitStew for letting me know about this bug!)
Fixed inconsistent card descriptions.

Additions:
Added HP Bar overlays to Blasting Light and Invisible Bomb powers.
Invisible Bomb now has a second number shown for how many turns left until it is guaranteed to detonate.

Balance:
Indiscriminate Fire Support Nerf - Now shuffles Dazed even if it has no effect, so don't randomly play it at 0 energy just for the sake of playing it now!
