- Rook special projectile lifetime resets on parry
- Rook special projectile correctly spawns multihits when hitting Chesspiece or the ground after being parried.

Balance Changes:
- Article queen special is invincible during startup
- Pressing special to perform an article piece dspecial trigger (like firing knight gun, firing rook cannon etc) will no longer cause regular nspecial to play out (won't get put into pratfall/pratland)
- Knight special projectile hitbox lifetime reset and hsp increased when parried

Bug fixes:
- Hitting article piece out of pawn special correctly makes the piece enter explode state
- Getting hit out of nspecial startup will no longer activate the swap during hitstun/hitpause
- Opponents who hit article piece should no longer get hit by the piece hitbox

Other:
- Hitting article pieces now has screenshake

Balance Changes:
- King armour reworked slightly. Getting hit out of armour will have set knockback equivalent to getting hit at 0%.
- Piece article explosion dmg increased: 7 -> 8 (no longer crouch cancelable)
- Dstrong multihit added extra hitbox that hits aerial opponents, should connect better into launcher.
- Dstrong launcher kbg decreased: 1.1 -> 1.0
- Dstrong launcher hitbox height increased slightly
- Pawn grounded Uspecial now has pratfall on whiff again.

Bug fixes:
- Bairing while in king armour no longer retains king armour movement stats.

Other:
- King regains outline while armoured
- King armour cooldown has meter visual
- King armour has vfx and sfx when broken

Balance Changes:
- King armour is now soft armour instead of super armour (King article still gets full super armour)
- Ustrong kbg increased: 0.5 -> 0.8
- Ustrong bkb decreases over time: 10 -> 6
- You now lose 2 pawn meter steps upon death and lose 1 pawn meter step upon getting parried.
- Bishop wavedash/roll/airdodge speed decreased slightly
- Queen F/Dspecial kbg increased: 1.0 -> 1.2
- Queen F/Dspecial doesnt have gravity except for the startup window (makes it easier to recover offstage after using it)
- Grounded Pawn Uspecial goes much higher and doesn't put into pratfall (funni chess reference)
- Knight Fspecial has cooldown (20f)
- Nspecial swap time increased: 4f -> 10f
- Nspecial puts into pratfall/pratland at the start of the move (only if article piece is active)
- Nspecial cooldown reduced: 80f -> 60f
- Hitting piece articles set has_hit to true for attackers
- Dattack can be jump canceled on hit.

Bug Fixes:
- Pawn meter gets set to 0 if Queen mode is active on death
- Piece switching no longer displays wrong piece sprite for a single frame after switching

Other:
- Rook has funny sfx when walking/dashing
- Nspecial has better sfx/vfx to signal which piece is currently active
- 3 new alts: Yellow, Cyan, Orange (Riptide colours)

- Added Abyss Rune compatibility
- Added Final Smash buddy compatibility: the Megachessatron.

Abyss Runes list:
- Rune A: Pawn meter always starts 3 spaces ahead.
- Rune B: NSPECIAL cooldown and pratland removed.
- Rune C: USPECIAL never puts you into pratfall.
- Rune D: Piece self destruct explosions no longer harm yourself.
- Rune E: USTRONG range increased drastically.
- Rune F: Piece self destruct explosion countdown time reduced.
- Rune G: Queen form meter never decreases.
- Rune H: NSPECIAL has a hitbox.
- Rune I: NAIR can be held down to extend the multihits lifetime.
- Rune J: Knight has 2 extra jumps, and King retains FSPECIAL super armour on FSTRONG and DSTRONG.
- Rune K: Piece hitboxes when attacked size increased, and last much longer.
- Rune L: All FSPECIAl/DSPECIAL attacks have been enhanced.
- Rune M: When Pawn meter is full, press TAUNT to unleash a Megachessatron (only once per game).
- Rune N: All piece type attacks can fill up the Pawn meter.
- Rune O: If you die off the bottom or side blastzones, you will switch to any active pieces.

Balance Changes:
- Bishop F/Dspecial launch direction more consistent.
