Every year, cultures bordering another culture who have discovered a gunpowder innovation will have a chance to unlock that innovation and be able to research it for themselves
- Added two new mapmodes, Language and Heritage, showing cultures which share a language or heritage respectively
- All Turkic cultures formerly speaking different varieties of Common Turkic now share the same language
- Lowered the chance of Stateless gov AI to declare war
- You can now go to university at Candi Muaro Jambi and Candi Muaro Takus
- Hariharalaya is now correctly renamed to Yasodharapura in start dates after 889
