Hello everyone, back at it again with a new update for my Eygpt Tweak mod to include changes I worked up recently for Ramses II who was released as a part of Rulers of the Sahara mainly because I really wanted to give some sort of bonus related to monuments, shrines and temples after reading through his Civilopedia entry and his wiki page as I thought that I would be thematically appropriate while simultaneously pairing nicely with his current bonus of gaining a percentage of culture upon completeing a building or a Wonder. I also wanted to add a faith-related bonus to his ability in order to add some depth to his gameplay and give him the option to pursue other victory conditions while leaving culture victory as his best one. A balance update finally comes to the Egypt Tweak mod! I won't lie, this should have happened sooner but I am a stubborn person and at first I didn't see just how powerful the original buff truly was. However, after listening to the comments of others and taking some time to reflect I eventually came to accept the fact that +2 Production to all floodplain tiles is simply just too much and needs to be changed. That being said, I still wanted to have some sort Production buff in relation to Floodplains, so my first idea with this balance update was to stagger the bonus and lock it behind techs. However, this wasn't as satisfying as I hoped it would be and thus eventually decided on doing something similar to what Mali does with desert tiles. So going forward the new buff to Iteru is that City Centers receive +1 Production from every adjacent floodplain tile (and this applies to all three kinds of them). That way this ability still provides Egypt with a way to take advantage of their floodplain starts more effectively and gives them some much need production to help them better utilize their wonder/district ability, while at the same time not being as OP as the old version. Sorry to everyone who had their save games bricked by this change, but I hope y'all enjoy it!
