Mining Update #2

This Update adds uses to the items from the previous mining update, as well as a few other items.
Most of this content is map-locked content, which I do apologize for. Following updates (more info near the end of patch notes) will not be map locked.
New Drills!
Diamond Tipped Drill- Crafted from Diamond fragments, a drill that is 1.5x more efficient than a jackhammer
Diamond Drill- Crafted from a Diamond, a drill that is 2x more efficient than a jackhammer. It is also capable of breaking higher-tier ores, which the other drills can not.
Glowing Crystal Lamp- A decorative light source made from glowing crystals
Diamond Grindstone- A grindstone made with diamond fragments, used to crush various minerals into powder.
Glowing Crystal Powder- A powder made from glowing crystals. This powder is used like fertilizer, and the usage time is half of what fertilizer is.
Charcoal Furnace- A furnace filled with logs and sticks that must be placed down to burn into charcoal.
Charcoal- A substitute for regular coal that anyone can create, used for the creation of steel.
Blast Furnace- A new tool used for combining a refined iron ingot and 50 coal/charcoal into crude iron. The crude iron is to then be worked on a refined iron anvil to be turned into Steel. (Steel is currently not in this update)

Black cat statue- A decorative black cat for Halloween. This is currently uncraftable. There will be a recipe added in an update involving Magic/Spells/Potions. (More info below)

Fixes/Changes:
Most iron and refined iron structures are no longer pitch black if you have skybox reflections off.
Changed the Model of the forge to have a bellow instead of oxygen tanks.
The Gaia's Axe now does more damage to zombies and players.
Other small changes.


I have a lot of content planned for the future. The next update was originally going to be a big fishing update, adding content to the neptune's alloy as well as the fishing net gun, but I had also planned to release Steel in this update. The things involving steel had a lot of texture issues, so I made the decision to move it to the next update instead. Here is a basic list of the planned updates I have for the future.

Future Updates:
Mining update #2 (Adds uses to mining items, as well as steel) [This Update]
Fishing update #2, big update to fishing. Adds use to neptune's alloy (After mining update)

Updates planned without release date/order
Magic update (Adding spell book, magical robes, decorative items, potions)
Food Update (You will be able to disassemble food atomically to reconstruct it into new food)
Refined Steel Update (5x more durable than metal)
Crystal Plant update (Will be used for a lot of future crafting recipes. Will also serve as a 1.04x multiplier for any armor it's applied to [Custom armor i add, spec ops, and upgradable armor)
Mining update #3 (secret)
Woodcutting update #2 (New ghillie armor, powerful light sword, powerful bow)
Utility Update (Adding industrial versions of oxygenator, sz generator, adding spike strips, tougher beds, hexagon/octagon buildables, and more)
1.0 Update (Final touches, new special items, declaration of full release of my mod)

This update had a huge time gap in between my previous update. School has started back up and I've had less time to work on these. Thanks for using my mod and any support you give is very much appreciated.

Mining Update #1
This is a Locked Content Update! If you are unsure what locked content is, please check the discussions.

Silver- A metal that’s worth some money. Effective against zombies.
Gold- A metal that is worth some money.
Glowing Crystal- A crystal that glows.
Coal- A lump of carbon fuel. Will be used to make steel
Diamond- A lump of carbon crystals. Will be used for diamond tipped drills.

Planned future content
Locked Content:
Silver weapons, diamond tipped drills,
Non locked content:
Steel (made from coal/charcoal, and refined iron)

Bug fixes:
Fixed an issue of not being able to melt down welded ingots back into singular ingots.

Blacksmith Update #3
Recyclables, you can now melt buildables back into their ingot form. For welded ingots, it will be a 1:1 refund. For buildables however, you can only recycle them into one ingot.

This is a small update which hopefully allows people to get some of their metal back.

Known bugs to be fixed:
Doors currently have a small gap in between the hinge and a doorway of a map structure.

Blacksmith Update #2

New Content:
Refined Iron, a material that is 3x more durable than normal metal buildables/items. To create a refined iron ingot, you need to weld 2 ingots of normal iron, then use an "Iron anvil and smithing hammer" as well as a heat source to make refined iron. In order to make refined iron items, you will need a refined iron anvil and smithing hammer.
Openable Barricades. You can now make iron and refined iron variants of doors, vault doors, double doors, gates, hatches, and shutters


Content Changes:
The anvil and smithing hammer has been retextured and renamed to Iron anvil and iron smithing hammer.

Bug fixes:
Fixed buildables giving the wrong effect when damaged. Some when punched, show wood/concrete effects. This has since been changed, and now should be showing the metal punching effect.

Blacksmith Update

New Content:
Added various new blacksmithing items, including an anvil, smithing hammer, crucible, ingot mold, forge (decorative heat source), iron ingots, and a new welding and metal working system
There is also a completely new set of buildables, which is twice as good as metal. This is currently limited to structures only (non free form buildables), but I plan on adding some free form buildables, and new lockers.
I also have planned two new metal resources to be added.

Bug fixes:
Fixed the ID of Neptune’s alloy, which prevented it from being dropped
Fixed insides for the model of the poisonous fishing Rod

Known bugs to be fixed in a future update:
Currently the new iron buildables have the wrong effect when punched. Some when punched, show wood or cloth effects, when they should be showing the typical metal punching effect.
