Final Update PART 3 v2.0 (The Resurrection)


An update has been released!
This is the definitive last update (again) to the add-on, we modified one UI element.

Here it is:

  • Moved "You are dead" text when player dies to the corner, this change has been ported from Vanilla Style NeunGUI.

Final Update PART 2 v1.9 (The Reckoning)

"Just when I thought I was out...they pull me back in!"

An update has been released!
This is the definitive last update to the add-on, we fixed and added few things.

Here they are:

  • Improvements have been made to the splitscreen play:
    Fixed the teampanels not aligning correctly when playing on splitscreen. Also fixed the overlapping of the weapon panel, it is now in the default weapon panel location when playing splitscreen.

  • Improvements have been made to the teampanels:
    Re-aligned voice icon location, death splatter locations and idle indicator. We also changed the idle indicator font, so it fits better with the healthbars. Death splatter icons have also been edited to make them look better.

  • Improvements have been made to the spectator:
    Removed the "Joining survivor team" text when joining a match for a cleaner look.

  • Improvements have been made to the survival elements:
    Moved "Infected Killed" in the survival scoreboard to align with Infected names. And the fully infected panel was moved +1 pixel down because it was standing too high.

  • More options:
    Added new transition screen into to the description, can be used.

Final Update PART 1 v1.8

An update has been released!
This is the final update (part 1) to the add-on, we fixed a few things.

Here they are:

  • Removed the level transition from hud so decided to serve it externally:
    The reason we do this is to offer many features, so players now can use level transitions externally. If you wish, use one of the level transitions in the links given in the description, or if you have a custom level transition, use it. Or you can use the default level transition.

  • Improvements have been made to the chat box:
    Edited it from scratch, now has a better look.

  • Made a small improvement to the survival scoreboard:
    Moved the final time digits 2 pixel down and common infected and its digits 2 pixel down.

  • Unfortunately, removed the ping icon:
    Removed the file "buttons32.vtf" from the hud because it conflicted with most of the custom fonts.

  • Made a small improvement to survivor panels:
    L4D1 survivors in the team panel did not originally have a frame, but the incap images of L4D1 survivors had a frame and were incompatible with each other. So we added the "AvatarBorder" feature to the "teammatepanel.res" file. So the original portraits of L4D1 survivors will have a frame like the incap images.

v1.7

An update has been released!
We're improving and fixing important things with this update!

Here they are:

  • Changed the survival scoreboard:
    We've reworked the scoreboard to adapt the NeunGUI timer, now they're even more compatible!

  • Changed the ping icon:
    Vanilla ping icon wasn't compatible to the NeunGUI healthbars, and the ping icon was a pale color, so they didn't look as a whole together. For this, we made a small change and changed the ping icon. Minimize your game once and return to the game, so that the ping icon can change.

  • Progressbar has been edited to look more compact:
    It's will still be white, but more compact and will use the default NeunGUI's recolored progressbar.

  • A change has been made to the death icon:
    We weren't sure about the death icons before and we don't want to change much, but now it will use the death splatter of default hud, this change was made so that the panels do not remain empty after death.

  • A change has been made to the weapon panel:
    We wanted to make a change to the selected item color, as the vanilla selected item color didn't seem compatible with the neungui healthbars. This change is for the selected item color of the weapon panel, not the weapon panel items/elements.

Changes:

  • Removed the skull icon when a player is dead.
  • Icon has been replaced with more minimalistic looking cross icon.

An update has been released!
  • Improvements have been made to the local/teammate panels:
    Move the background of the survival scoreboard up so that it is symmetrical.
    Add a background behind the incap images and a black frame around it.
    Move the 'loading text' down on the saferoom loading screen.
    Fix incap images that appear to be cut off in panels.

  • Unnecessary files have been removed from the add-on:
    Remove excess files from the add-on.

  • Add-on preview images have been updated:
    Be up to date.

An update has been released!
  • Minor changes to the local player panel:
    Correct the position of the health icon, stick to the default.

  • Minor changes to the look of hud animations item icons:
    Go back to the vanilla look.
    Add back the white borders next to icons.
    This is related to the look of the icons that appear on screen when take an item or ammo.

  • Add-on preview images have been updated:
    Be up to date.

    Make minor corrections to the position of the incap images.
    Add the skull icon to the death panel of teammate panels.

  • Added custom crosshair support:
    For more than 25 custom crosshairs, including Schism's crosshairs.
  • Readjusted the player panels:
    Make their position more accurate.
  • Changed the font of the rescue message of in spectator ui:
    Be sure it won't look like it's been cut in some languages.
  • Bugs fixed:
    Fix position of voice icon and ducking icon.
Will not support all custom crosshairs.
