Update: 4 Jan, 2022 @ 7:09pm

Changes for Shadow Phoenix:
Health: 5828 -> 5620

Changes for Vengeance:
- Renamed "Vengeful Aura" to "Revengeful Aura".
- Changed a few ability descriptions.

Update: 23 Nov, 2021 @ 4:18pm

- Vengeance's unit icon has been horizontally flipped to at least differ visually from the Omen of Asuryan icon I clearly ripped it from.
- The Shadow Phoenix's unit icon has been horizontally flipped to at least differ visually from the Frostheart Phoenix icon I clearly ripped it from.

Update: 22 Nov, 2021 @ 1:05pm

- Removed Shadowcloak ability from Vengeance. Considering the amount of health and armor it has compared to the other phoenix units, it's unnecessary and made the unit overpowered. Honestly, I accidentally left the ability on it since I originally planned to just make it another Shadow Phoenix but simply bigger before going for a much different concept.

Stat Changes for Vengeance:
Melee Attack 59 -> 58

Update: 22 Nov, 2021 @ 12:00pm

HOTFIX:
- The Shadow Phoenix's unit card picture should now appear correctly.

Update: 17 Nov, 2021 @ 4:53am

- Vengeance's Vengeful Charge ability buffed. It now lasts 18 seconds instead of 10. It also now provides a +12 melee attack buff during its duration. I felt as though Vengeance's melee attack value was too low to really utilize the added charge bonus, especially for a late-game unit. Not only that, but the duration wasn't long enough to compensate the linear taper that happens naturally with Charge Bonus (assuming that even applies with ability-based Charge Bonus buffs).

Update: 16 Nov, 2021 @ 12:08pm

HOTFIX:
- Fixed a crash when using in tandem with Nagarythe Expanded Roster. Unfortunately, this fix means the update is probably not compatible with on-going campaigns but I cannot be sure because I have no current ones. As an additional unfortunate side-effect, Nagarythe will have two Shadow Phoenix units; mine and the one from Nagarythe Expanded Roster. For now, it's the best I can do for a hotfix.
- Fixed the unit_category_icon that was using an older version of the custom icon I made.

MAJOR UPDATE:
After a crapton of hard work, self-education, and help from others in the TW modding Discord, I'm finally releasing a Regiment of Renown version of the Shadow Phoenix named "Vengeance". It uses a custom texture and is basically a twisted version of the Arcane Phoenix.

- The Shadow Phoenix now uses its own entity rather than relying on the Frostheart Phoenix's entity.
- The Terror attribute has been removed from the Shadow Phoenix, it now only possesses Fear.
- The Shadow Phoenix now correctly applies magic damage to its attacks.
- The Shadowcloak and Shadowflight ability icons have been recolored so it at least differs to the vanilla icons its ripped from. I'll probably work on more unique icons and replace them in the future.
- Added a brand new Regiment of Renown of the Shadow Phoenix named "Vengeance".
- Recreated the unit card icon for the Shadow Phoenix and its RoR counterpart so they differ between the vanilla icons they're based on.

Stat Changes for Shadow Phoenix:
Health: 6490 -> 5820
Morale: 83 -> 87
Armour: 40 -> 30
Speed: 100 -> 120
Melee Attack: 44 -> 42
Charge Bonus: 55 -> 56

Ability Stat Changes for Shadow Phoenix:
Shadowflight:
Duration 10 -> 12
Cooldown 80 -> 60
Shadowcloak:
Ward Save 40 -> 75
Duration 14 -> 16
Cooldown 100 -> 80

Update: 4 Nov, 2021 @ 10:05am

- Corrected AI usage of the unit. It now correctly attempts to use it as a flanker.

Update: 4 Nov, 2021 @ 7:53am

- Entirely reworked the stats; the unit is now a hit-and-run ambushing unit. It has low health and sustain but does the most damage out of all the Phoenix units. Its abilities can also supplement its survival so long as you use them intelligently.

- Made it so the Shadow Phoenix is now recruited at the Aesnar Camp, though it still requires the Temple of Asuryan to prevent getting the unit so early in the game.

- Removed Ethereal and its associated physical resistance.

- Shadowflight now lasts for 10 seconds and gives +50% Speed instead of 25%. It still gives Stalk and Unstoppable.

- The info card bulletin for the unit now shows that it causes Terror.

- Added another new custom ability to the Shadow Phoenix called "Shadowcloak". Upon activation, it gives the Shadow Phoenix a +40% Ward Save for 14 seconds.

Update: 3 Nov, 2021 @ 4:06pm

- The Shadow Phoenix is no longer a Siege Attacker (the passive that allows you to attack walled settlements in 1 turn) because none of the other Phoenixs were.

- Ethereal now grants 75% physical resistance like most of the other units that have it. This means that when its "Attuned to Magic" passive is procced from the Winds of Magic being above 50%, it's physical resistance can max out at 90%. That may seem like a lot, but it's quite weak to magical attacks and does little damage to late-game units.
