Actual Final Demo Update: v2.2
Happy Eevee Day! Work on the final version is going wonderfully, but I've had a few changes I've been wanting to push to the demo version for some time now. It's not much, but hope this suffices as development continues. Enjoy!

Additions
  • Eevee now does the funny dance, courtesy of Connor, creator of Samuel
  • Added missing Tail Whip costume/effect for Blue Baby
  • Added missing color variants for the Disappointed costume
  • Small compatibility with Fancy Costumes. This adds a left-facing sprite to Revelations
  • Added Chinese translations to the EID compatibility, courtesy of Delamange

Changes
  • Eevee's damage is now back to x0.9 instead of 0.858, as a treat.
  • Changed how EID's languages are organized in the code, making it a little easier to make translations moving forward
  • The <3 costume no longer weirdly animates
  • Eviolite's increased stats on Eevee are now disabled, as originally intended for the demo
  • Petting Eevee can now be done outside the starting room, so long as the room is cleared
  • Achievement paper graphic for Mom's Heart is now a little more obvious on how to use the unlock
  • Updated Neptunus' EID description for Eevee
  • VeeHelper is no longer a global
  • The "CreatedBy" variable in all anm2 files that were using "Unknown" or "robot" now use "Sanio46"
  • Shrank the Eevee Burger. Was simply too chonky
  • Added squeak sound effect when petting Eevee

Fixes
  • Fixed Caffiene Pill, Mars, and SMB Super Fan shaving Eevee's body
  • Fixed slight sprite mistakes with Eevee's costumes for Maggy's Bow, Shoop Da Whoop, Bucket of Lard, Binge Eater, Belly Jelly, Jupiter's blue skin color costume, Host Hat, and Giant Cell
  • Possible fix for any issues relating to Strange Egg and Cookie Jar's rendering in the HUD
  • Fixed Eevee's Pog For Good Items costume not having "shooting" variants
  • Swift stars trails now properly follow the star's height. This is most noticeable when seeing them fall down after they reach the end of their range

License Update!

Demo now holds an MIT license. Nothing else. If you ever plan on using this mod for your own usage, the license must be included.

Final Demo Update

As of this update, no more updates past this one will be pushed to this workshop upload of Eevee unless extremely critical bugs are found. Below are some very tiny fixes, but the goal for the demo remains the same: Complete the rest of the mod on our own time and upload it separately as the true final version of the mod as it was meant to be.

  • Players can shoot after being revived as another character
  • Swift's data for trails should no longer affect trails that it shouldn't
  • Fixed Eevee's firerate jumping to 30 upon getting any tears up past Soy Milk

Fixes
  • Fixed the speed at which Swift's logic was updated being multiplied by how many players were Eevee
  • Fixed Eevee being able to fire Swift if they were not in their walking animation. Changing to different animations will not interrupt Swift, however
  • Fixed thrown rocks from Mom's Bracelet landing as if it were a Swift star, playing a sound and splash effect

  • Fixed Poke Ball pickups failing to respawn an entity who had been spawned by another entity

  • Swift stars now splash with Playdough/Continuum colors if you have the respective items
  • Swift's stars will now resume from the previous Swift instance's rotation if your firerate is as at 10 or above, so long as the previous instance of Swift stars still exist within the room
  • Swift's stars will be at a constant rotation speed starting at Soy Milk firerate instead of on the usual decelerating rotation speed

Changes
  • Eevee's damage multiplier reduced from x0.9 to x0.858 for a flat 3.0 starting damage
  • Sped up the rate at which the custom-made Continuum color shifting changes its RGB values
  • Removed a leftover print function
  • Removed all content that will go unused in the demo (Eeveelutions, some items, etc)

  • Fixed the Godhead Aura around the knives from Swift + Mom's Knife being incorrectly positioned

  • Fixed potentially crashing when restarting the game while shooting Swift
  • Fixed Swift's Soy + Brimstone synergy not working after firing once if you restarted a previous run while firing, so long as it was in the same game session
  • Fixed damage scaling for the following Swift synergies: Brimstone + Chocolate Milk, Technology and Technology 2 + Chocolate Milk, and Tech X
  • Fixed Swift not firing towards the mouse if you had mouse input enabled with Analog Stick
  • Fixed Swift lasers hurting players
  • Fixed Swift stars disappearing with Spirit Sword the moment your spin was done
  • Fixed Swift's Soy Milk + Brimstone lasers not continuously firing if the laser was any variant other than the regular Brimstone and Brimstone + Technology. This would include Thicker, Thin, and Mega Brimstone lasers and their Technology variants

This will be the last major update to the demo, hence its "demo" title! This should be the quality to expect for Eevee and the Eeveelutions once the full mod is complete. Thank you for your feedback and for enjoying the journey this mod has been through, and hope you can look forward to when it's finally done!

Swift
Swift is the majority of the additions, changes, and fixes for this update, and as such has its own section. It has been entirely recoded from scratch to fix its core issues and fix some synergies, while also allowing for new ones!
  • Swift now works on a "per instance" system, where one instance of Swift equates to one full 5-star attack from spawning the stars to firing them, and the statistics they spawned with will be stay that way, being unchanged if anything with the player changes while its active. Multiple instances can also exist at the same time!
  • Multi-shot now creates more stars in the ring instead of being smaller ones that orbit the main star.
  • New Synergies: Neptunus, Mom's Knife + Ludovico Technique
  • Changed Synergies: Tiny Planet, Mom's Knife + Brimstone
  • Number of extra Monstro's Lung stars decreased from 6 to 5
  • Soy Milk and Almond Milk no longer give a unique synergy, instead interacting naturally with Swift's new system that can faster firerates better
  • Default orbit radius changed from 50 to 45
  • Fixed all previous bugs with Swift

Additions
  • All Achievement Pages and Poke Stop no longer have placeholder sprites
  • Tail Whip now appears in its item pools when unlocked
  • Tail Whip has a synergy with Book of Virtues
  • (Was forced at gunpoint for this) Added "Ugh For Bad Items and "Not Mad, Just Disappointed for Quality 0 items" compatibility. Both mods will use the same face on Eevee
  • Custom continuum effect has been added to Eevee's laser and knife synergies!
  • New C-Section Costume!

Changes
  • Eevee's damage multiplier changed from x0.8 to x0.9, you're welcome
  • Some major changes have been made to the Pokey Mans: Crystal challenge
    • Flaming Hopper has been replaced by Coal Boy
    • Upon clearing a boss room, all players gain an HP up and all permanently charmed enemies will be healed
    • Brother Bobby has been replaced with Lil Eevee
    • When clearing a normal room, you have a 30% chance for the room clear drop to be a regular Poke Ball
    • Quality 2 items are replaced by Great Balls instead of Poke Balls
    • Players start with a familiar cap
    • If multiple players are present for the challenge, the starter Pokemon shall respawn
  • Familiars and items no longer affect Eevee's on-fire item effects
  • Tail Whip's knockback was reduced to 50 from 80
  • Shiny enemies now have a different particle effect
  • Added a few shaded pixels onto Eevee's hair
  • Reduced Lock-On Spec's damage multiplier from +100% to +50%
  • Lock-On Spec's additive chance to drop itself upon taking damage has been increased from +10% to +20%. To make up for the change, the golden trinket/Mom's Box effects of multiplying said chance has been removed
  • Spanish and Korean translations have been temporarily disabled due to Swift's overhaul and the many changes that've been brought as a result

Fixes
  • Fixed Metronome not updating Eevee to remove blacklisted costumes
  • Fixed Echo Chamber infinitely duplicating Poke Ball pickups and Endless Nameless
  • Poke Balls no longer remains a pickup if leaving the room after a captured enemy has been released and were to be destroyed
  • Fixed golden trinkets of Eevee-unlockable trinkets not being rerolled if not yet unlocked, now rerolls into a different golden trinket.
  • Fixed Isaac's Tears not charging with Eevee
  • Fixed other knives using the unique Spirit Sword spritesheet with Eevee if they have Spirit Sword
  • Fixed the broken entry of Bad EGG in item pools, causing it both to not appear and crash the game when crafting items with Bag of Crafting in the secret room pool
  • Fixed Strange Egg being used if it were in the secondary slot via Schoolbag and the primary active was used
  • Fixed Eevee's costume for Black Candle, giving it a unique .anm2 file as the spritesheet was not made for the original .anm2 file
  • Fixed shiny enemies dropping a golden trinket a second time when shattered after being frozen
  • Fixed Lil Glaceon firing tears rapidly
  • Fixed Eevee not gaining unique hair costumes with the items that granted them if still holding the item after being picked up and transitioning rooms
  • Fixed instances where capturing an enemy that is part of a boss in some form will not count as becoming friendly, and the game will get confused thinking you still need to kill it.
  • Fixed Eevee technically being able to fire for a split second when putting away the Wonderous Launcher (using the item while it's already out)
  • Fixed Eevee's technology costume when facing left being three pixels higher than it should
  • Fixed Eevee's Azazel's Stump costume being three pixels lower than it should
  • Fixed Eevee's death sound playing if a normal death sound played around the same time that Eevee plays their hurt sound effect
