3.8 Update tweaks
Main changes are that zro infused now has a zro upkeep, which was always intended but unable to be implemented, zro infused rulers now also have buffs and the tier 2 resource traits have had a slight nerf with +100% mineral consumption to compensate for the resource production.

  • Fixed some textures

Version 1.6 - Boulder Than Ever
Welcome to the biggest update to Lithoid Supremacy! BOULDER THAN EVER!

Features:
Traits:
  • Ravenous Rocks: Increases pop growth speed but doubles mineral upkeep, 2 cost.
  • Resonating Voices: Increases mineral and crystal mining output, 3 cost.
  • Integrated Circuitry: Slows pop growth but increases research output and max leader level, 4 cost.
  • Fractal Crystalisation: +0.04 Monthly pop organic assembly per pop, 3 cost.
  • Crystal Capacitors: Robot Trait, increases energy production for a slight increase in pop energy usage, 2 cost.
  • Fractal Crystal Plating: Robot Trait, Increases assembly speed but requires 0.01 rare crystals a month, 2 cost.
  • Scintillating Shards, Gaseous Reaction and Explosive Excretions: +0.02 rare resource produced per pop, 2 cost each.
  • Cohesive: Empire size per pop -20%, 3 cost.
  • Fractured: Empire size per pop +20%, 3 cost.
  • Fragmented Assets: +25% trade value, reduces lifespan, 1 cost.
  • Fragmented Riches: +0.01 of each rare resource, significantly reduces lifespan, 1 cost.
  • Zro Infused: A secret trait that offers a great number of resources, surely there's no harm,0 cost.

Buildings:
  • Gem Storage: A trade building to store all your precious gems in, provides 1 merchant and 2 clerk jobs.
  • Gem Vault: A fortress to protect your treasures, provides 2 merchant jobs, 4 clerk jobs and 1 soldier job.
  • Zen Garden: A peaceful garden providing 3 priest jobs and a clerk job.

Components:
  • Psionic Vibrant Shielding: The second tier of Lithoid Psionic Shields.
  • Regenerative Crystal Armor: The second tier of Lithoid Regenerative Crystal Plating.
  • Meteor Strike Craft: A fourth tier in strikecraft offering similar stats as third tier but with a significant increase in fighter storage.
  • Terravore Swarmcraft: Terravore Only, The second tier of Meteor Strike Craft.
  • Orbital Flak Defences: Provides significant damage and speed buffs to point defences.

Terravore Expansion:
  • Terravore Shard Armies: have a 10% chance to spawn terravore shards on death. This will periodically spawn armies on the afflicted planet, they can be burned out on taking the world yourself or if the defender enacts a decision. Still in beta, expect bugs.
  • Devourer Colossus Weapon: Can be used on only inhabited planets and not Geode Worlds, take a long time to fire and will reduce the planet's size. Will provide either Minerals, Alloys or even pops, eventually will reduce the world to a husk.

Duneborn Expansion:
  • Xerocentric Ascension Perk: Reduces desert terraforming by 25%, doubles benefits of Duneborn trait (except mote production per pop) and doubles malices for non-dry worlds, if the empire has colossus weapons, unlocks the Evaporator Beam.
  • Evaporator Beam Colossus Weapon: Similar to the Aquatic's Deluge weapon, this will transform planets into desert worlds, and kill all non-duneborn pops.

Psionic Expansion:
  • Zro Infused: There is a chance that Lithoid Psionic empires that have a zro income will acquire the Zro Infused event, this will cause a random pop and random leader to become Zro Infused leading to different pop and leader bonuses and unlocks the trait for genetic modification. For pops this will result in them needing 0.01 Zro in upkeep per month.
  • Zro Overload: There is a small chance on level up that a Zro Infused leader can become Zro Overloaded, the Zro infused in their bodies has completely overtaken their system, significantly increasing the bonuses provided, however this means the leader's lifespan will be cut significantly shorter.

Misc:
  • Shiver Star System: My test in designing star systems, this system is guaranteed to spawn in 1000 galaxy stars (with rare exceptions, working on those), this will be the future site of events and maybe a precursor chain, it currently comes with a habitable planet.
  • Duneborn Mote production buffed from 0.02 to 0.03.
  • Ferra-Magnetic Core alloy production nerfed from 0.05 to 0.03
  • Basalt Hewn Army buff changed to defence armies.
  • Science for T1 shields and armor lowered.

Bug Fixes:
  • Fixed bug with secret trait removal from leaders.
  • Fixed bug with Hive mind Mountain/Asteroid Bastions not giving commander drone jobs.
  • Fixed Bug with new origins.

Planning the localisation for Russian and Simplified Chinese soon.

Ok this is the real last final super final last one for today. Geode Worlds have been bugged for idk how long apparently, not sure if it was the 3.6 update or earlier but due to the fact that the effects of the Geode World (+15% to resources) and the Geode World modifier (+40% minerals) had the same name, the mineral bonus from the modifier wasn't appearing. These are intended to stack as the Geode Worlds are meant to be extremely powerful, this has now been fixed as the modifier has been renamed to Bountiful Geode World, I might change that in future but for now it works.

Ok final update, minor issue with the Pearl Born origin that stopped the drones from spawning. They're now extremely powerful with the genetic traditions so they may need to be balanced.

Update after the first 3.6
This is just to patch some mistakes and things I missed in the main update, pop trait production works, game rules have been updated, buildings correctly updated and trait pop assembly reworked to be correct.

Minor balance changes:
- Dune Born: 0.02 motes to 0.03 motes
- Ferra-magnetic Core: 0.05 alloys per miner to 0.03

Updated to 3.6!
Added one new tech, tweaked trait appearances, secret traits require genetics tree completion.
Some bugs can occur with ODP stuff but rarely.

Planned update: 1.6 Boulder than ever

Planned minor patch: Russian Language support, cost reduction to reso shields.

Bug fixes with AI selecting the Geode World (regardless of habitability and allowing them to be guaranteed habitables, obviously this is a bad idea), this has been prevented and the only initial Geode Worlds are through the origin.

There was also a bug with Phototropic drones upkeep, this has been fixed.
