Update: 26 Dec, 2021 @ 6:25pm

Version 2.3

Added wartime livery for locomotive, as well as both wartime and post-war liveries for tender.

LOCOMOTIVE

Changes:

Moved number boards to the rearward positions they had been moved to by World War II.

Re-mapped the forward end of the boiler to allow for it to have a lighter color without needing to adjust any other portions of the UV map or texture.

Enlarged numbering on cab sides, removed Daylight colors

Tender

Changes:

Removed all but "Southern Pacific Lines" markings (Wartime tender)

Replaced lettering with larger "Southern Pacific" markings modified from one of the tenders in Stationmaster's original mod pack (Post-War tender)

Update: 22 Dec, 2021 @ 10:31pm

Version 2.2

Lights and number boards now glow.

Fixed a materials issue with the aux tender.

Both these things were initially fixed by ps5m122, and I've incorporated their changes into the mod.

Update: 20 Dec, 2021 @ 5:28pm

Version 2.1

Fixed an issue (kindly pointed out by FruitBerry) where the aux tender couplers would change positions when the unit was reversed.

Update: 18 Dec, 2021 @ 4:09pm

Full Changelogs:

Note: All models and liveries referenced below are linked at the top of the mod group's description.

LOCOMOTIVE MODEL

Original model: Stationmaster's GS-4 (Forward Number Boards)

Changes:

Converted to the new Train Mod system (rather than QuickMods).

Replaced QuickMod preset wheels with Berkshire drive wheel set.

Increased the size of the body models by 15% in all dimensions to match the scale of both the Berkshire drive wheel set and the vanilla streamliner cars. (Unfortunately, as a result of this it is now at a somewhat mismatched scale with Stationmaster's modded Daylight rolling stock.)

Increased the length and height of the front and rear wheel set models by 15%. Width is unchanged so the wheels still fit the rails.

Minor adjustments to some lower portions of the model, as well as the cylinders, to better fit the Berkshire drive wheels set.

TENDER MODEL

Original model: Stationmaster's GS-4 Tender

Changes:

Converted to the new Train Mod system (rather than QuickMods).

Increased the body model size by 15% in all dimensions to match the modifications to the locomotive

Increased the length and height of the front and rear wheel set models by 15%. Width is unchanged so the wheels still fit the rails.

AUXILIARY TENDER MODEL

Original model: Stationmaster's GS-4 Tender (with above modifications)

Changes:

Removed the upper portion of the forward structure and replaced it with a duplicate of the upper portion of the rear structure to create a fully flat top.

Replaced the front panel with a duplicate of the rear panel to align the upper front edges. (Note: I'm new to Blender, so this was the simplest way I could come up with to make everything line up, rather than trying to mess with the angles of the original front panel. The downside is that the texture for the aux tender is now the same on the front and rear panels.)

Removed one of the ladders and the upper hatches.

Moved the remaining ladder to a position on the rear that roughly replicates the aux tender. (It's not really all that accurate, but it's the best I could do with my limited skills.)

LOCOMOTIVE TEXTURE: DAYLIGHT

Original texture: Stationmaster's GS-4 livery

Changes:

Kept the original red/orange, but used the blacks/grays from The Trainspotter from Tauranga's 4449 livery.

Replaced numbering with an upscaled version of the numbers on Trainspotter's 4449 livery.

Recolored lower front number plate to match the real locomotive (red with gray numbers, rather than black with white numbers).

LOCOMOTIVE TEXTURE: AMERICAN FREEDOM TRAIN

Original texture: Kanan Matsuura but a Railroader's AFT 4449 livery

Changes:

Replaced blacks/grays with those from Trainspotter's 4449 livery to match the changes made to the Daylight texture.

Adjusted the shades of red and blue to match the exact shades of the American flag as published in the Color Association of the United States' Standard Color Reference of America.

Duplicated the modifications made to the lower front number plate on the Daylight livery (see above).

Added a small shaded area (the slightly darker rectangles on either side) to match Stationmaster's original GS-4 Daylight livery.
