Update: 29 Nov, 2024 @ 4:39pm

Version 1.2.2 has been published to Stable tModLoader v2024.9

- Now allows for tooltip localization (because I was super inexperienced when originally making this mod so I didn't know how to properly set it up).

Update: 22 Feb, 2024 @ 6:59pm

Version 1.2.1.1 has been published to Stable tModLoader v2023.12

- Updated the tooltips of Lightning Boots+ to match their buff in version 1.2.1
- Fixed a bug caused by forgetting to reset the variable used for boot stacking priority that caused the effects of boots to persist even when unequipped.

Update: 20 Feb, 2024 @ 9:29pm

Version 1.2.1 has been published to Stable tModLoader v2023.12

- Lightning Boots and above have been buffed, they increase your running speed to 36 mph instead of 34.
- Boot prioritization has been fixed! In vanilla, the boot in your lowest equip slot will always be the one that sets your movement speed, regardless of whether you have a higher tier boot in a different equip slot. This is no longer the case, you can now be free to equip your boots in whatever order you like.
- The code to add custom boots to the boot stacking list has had to change very slightly to accommodate the above fix.
- Internal changes to allow for improved compatibility with one of my other mods.

Oh yeah, and a new icon.

Acceleration Rework Update
Version 1.2.0 has been published to Stable (v2023.6)

- The player's base acceleration has been increased by 25%! This makes early gameplay feel just a little bit more fluid.
- Fixed Anklet of the Wind and Lightning Boots+ granting absurd acceleration bonuses. Anklet of the Wind now only provides 50% acceleration (rather than ~100%), and Lightning Boots+ increase acceleration by 25%.
- Anklet of the Wind reworked, only provides acceleration (see above) and doesn't increase movement speed at all.
- Aglet buffed from 8% to 10% movement speed (same as original Anklet).
- Shadow Armor and Magiluminescence: reduced the multiplicative speed and acceleration bonuses provided. Due to being multiplicative rather than additive (something unique that I don't want to remove entirely), they were allowing your speed to scale up a bit too much.
- Almost all acceleration bonuses have been changed from multiplicative to additive. The difference is mostly negligible, but this fixes the player being difficult to control when stacking acceleration.
- Panic Necklace speed bonus reverted to vanilla (75% -> 100%). It's not used enough to warrant a nerf.

Version 1.1.6 has been published to Preview

- Updated for tmodloader version 1.4.4
- Made internal adjustments to compensate for vanilla balance changes.
- Slightly buffed Aglet (5% movement speed -> 8%).
- Slightly nerfed Asphalt's movement speed multiplication (it also now provides a flat increase so that it remains unchanged with no other speed effects). This is important because asphalt now stacks with boots, leading to some frankly ridiculous speeds being easily obtainable.
- Adjusted the Bee Armor and Stardust Armor movement speed additions.

Update: 22 Aug, 2022 @ 4:26pm

Version v1.1.5 has been published to Stable

- Made boot stacking bonuses last slightly less time after leaving the ground.
- Implemented a fix for compatibility issues with Builder's Crouch Key.
- Dunerider Boots on sand provide an additive bonus rather than a multiplicative one (effects while wearing just the Dunerider Boots remains unchanged, this only changes their scaling).

Update: 7 Jun, 2022 @ 2:32pm

Version v1.1.4 has been published to Stable

Added a config option to disable all balance changes made. Honestly due to lightning boots and its upgrades not giving increased acceleration, this makes the game feel worse imo but if you want to mess around with Exquisitely Stuffed giving 40% increased speed, go ahead.

v1.1.3.1

Update for May stable branch.

Update: 29 Apr, 2022 @ 9:40am

v1.1.3

Updated for the preview branch, changed a few possibly misleading tooltips to be a bit more accurate.

Update: 27 Apr, 2022 @ 11:54am

v1.1.2

Vastly improved boot stacking by allowing the speed bonuses gained from it to last a short time after leaving the ground, meaning that jumping or falling a short distance doesn't make you lose all your extra speed instantly.
