Installing & Playing Close Quarter
When you subscribe to Close Quarter then open the GEM editor and click on f1 and then esc and see "mods" listed, so then click on that and then see close quarter listed ( apart from mods required ), anyway activate close quarter and click on "apply" below, then once its done its thing, then press f3 and then clicking on "load", (top right of screen) then click on "single" seen in the list, and all close quarter maps read as cq1, cq2, cq3, cq4 etc will appear well, click on any of them and see the mission file 0.mi, so then load mission file and you should be good to go.

Update: 14 Nov, 2024 @ 1:01am

All 25 mission files (now changed to 0.) have been updated using devs default battle sounds fx file, via environment panel f6. I have created the tree structure for this found in set folder/environment folder, while in sound folder is "default battle sound fx file" found in mission/single. In sound folder I have slotted in world folder to

Reworked cq1, cq12, cq13, cq14
Splash_editor file updated
New minimap created for cq1

Important Information
If battle sound fx does not sound upon booting up mission file 0.mi then switch to f3 mode, then hit f6, and in environment panel,, then scrolling down to where you see [+]weather and right underneath you will see enable and a box at the end. Ticking this box will then have the battle sound fx switch on.
I would advise to not have any other mods running when activating close quarter, and only required mods to have it load properly. if you get crash when activating close quarter and other mods are disactivated,
then it could mean you need to scan your content folder located at, SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\400750, opening mod/info file in folder chosen, then is name of mod, overall, in content folder may have an older version of close quarter or files left behind even after unsubscribing, dis-activating mods, deleting mod information, then anything left behind in content folder can still cause a possible conflict.
One mod and required mods and other mods activated like hawkas first person mod here; https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2959278450&searchtext=hawka really is the way to go.

Upon loading mission file 0.mi and the battle sound fx suddenly increases in volume, then its pressing esc (f1) and then in options, scrolling down to game music, and decreasing volume slider to nil. Then you can tweak volume for battle sound fx in environment panel f6.
Also, over time in resource folder, then more folders will appear, as a result, of new things added to close quarter, which will always receive updates.
When I am away from the pc, then I am always researching information mainly for the scripting. My scripting in the mission files is only what I call basic with some advanced thrown in, but with help with the advanced scripting to. All script that you see is what I have managed to get my head around, with understanding or trying to anyway, the communication between condition and commands in triggers. Its just a whole other language really.
