- Cleaned up the gameScript of unused snippets.
- Way of the Master and Way of the Assassin now have cooldowns instead of "Once per Combat" due to an issue where the stances were not being properly applied in Combat.

Updated Impale and renamed it to Impaling Strike. It now applies the new Impaled status added to Shared Resources.

The Impaled enemy themselves has an aura that grants all characters near it the Rip skill. Rip is strength-based and requires no weapons nor grants adrenaline. It does apply Bleeding. Impaled also does less damage than bleeding.

Shared Resources Update!
New Skills

  • Deadly Paradox - Increases damage by applying Might and Fury, but you gain Atrophy regardless of armor or immunity. If atrophy is removed, so is Deadly Paradox. Gain access to Resolve Paradox which cleanses Atrophy.
  • Shadow Fang - Spell. Offhand Attack. Teleport to a target. After one turn the target takes damage and is Deeply Wounded.
  • Expose Defense - Spell. Offhand Attack. Deal damage and apply Vulnerability and Agony.
  • Mark of Death - Spell. Dual Attack. Deal damage and apply Vulnerability and Decaying.
  • Shameful Fear - Spell. Dual Attack. Deal damage and apply Reupture Tendons, Swiftness, and Terrified.
  • Shroud of Silence - Spell. Finisher. Deal significant Magic Armor damage and apply mute, atrophy, and Lethargy.
Skill Updates / Changes
  • "Mute"/"Muted" in all skill descriptions has been replaced with "Silence"/"Silenced" to fit the vanilla skills and status name.
  • Deadly Haste - Applies Quickness and Swiftness rather than Hasted.
  • Shadow Prison - Now applies Lethargy which reduces Initiative and AP Recovery.
  • Vanishing Strike - Applies Invisibility and Fury. No longer applies Vanished or Unlocks Malicious Strike.
  • Malicious Strike - Made into it's out skill and skillbook. Only usable when invisible, does not require a Lead Attack and counts as an Offhand Attack. Always a backstab.
  • Nine Tail Strike - Damage increased significantly.
  • Storm Blossom - Radius of the impact area set to 5. 10 strikes, 50% damage multiplier per strike, explode radius of 3.
  • Mantis Dagger and Disrupting Dagger are now Lead Attacks.
Assassin Stances - All stances are now properly defined as stance status types. This means recasting a stance while it is active will cancel the stance, and makes all stances incompatible with stance status types used by other mods.
  • Dash - Changed to movement buff rather than a movement speed buff to not interfere with Crippled or Entangled, etc.
  • Viper's Defense - Duration changed to 3 turns (originally 2 turns). Description updated and fixed a bug preventing damage reflection.
  • Flashing Blades - Fixed a bug preventing damage reflection of melee attacks.
  • Way of the Master - Due to the incredibly time sink in trying to make this skills continue to function, I've opted to remove it's original intent. It is now a straight Dual Wielding buff with Damage and Critical Chance.
  • Way of the Phoenix - Radius of the effect reduced from 4 to 3 meters to be in line with other melee-range active defense skills like Flaming Tongues.
  • Death's Charge & Death's Retreat now apply Regeneration instead of a flat healing amount.
Skill Ranges: All of the following skills have had their range set to 9 meters.

The goals here was to normalize skill ranges and status effect potency. Changes in stance application are made to work with my other mods. Finally I wanted to round out the spells available to finesse builds. Assassin now provides 16 spells in the combo system and several more like Shadow Prison and Death's Retreat outside of the combo system, as well as a unique way to promote spellcasting through Deadly Paradox.

  • Updated Death's Charge and Death's Retreat to restore vitality on hit rather than through regeneration. Heals Undead as well.
