General

  • Compressed and regenerated the mip-maps of all the textures

I noticed that some of the textures were not properly compressed so I took the liberty to compress them and re-generate the mip-maps (just in case) myself. Due to the fact I have to override the original mod's textures again, the file size of the mod has been increased.

  • My texture and localization edits were integrated into Zerg93's mod so they're no longer needed in this submod, therefore file size has now drastically decreased.

  • Localization changes
  • Rebalanced and conformed all stats and miscellaneous tables to match Radious' logic.
  • Touched up the Magma Idol's texture colors; it's now a bit more saturated.
  • Touched up the Warpstone Idol's texture colors; Originally it had these red cracks which were leftover from the fact it was a recolored Magma Idol texture, these are now hidden better. It's green is also a bit more saturated.

Magma Idol
  • Renamed to "Volcanic Idol"
  • No longer Fatigue Immune
  • Now has 15% fire resistance
  • Melee is no longer considered magical
  • Projectile is no longer considered magical
  • Now has 8 ammunition instead of 10
  • Corrected projectile display; originally its thrown projectile was invisible which made it impossible to know where it was going to land. In this kind of game, visual feedback is mandatory and therefore led to a plethora of annoyances during battle since there are abilities that nullify projectiles, made it harder to react to, etc.

Frost Idol
  • Renamed to "Glacial Idol"
  • No longer Fatigue Immune
  • Now has -15% fire resistance
  • Now has 15% physical resistance
  • Melee is no longer considered magical
  • Projectile is no longer considered magical
  • Now has 8 ammunition instead of 10
  • No longer does bonus damage to infantry
  • Is now anti-large instead of anti-infantry
  • Corrected projectile display; originally its thrown projectile was invisible which made it impossible to know where it was going to land. This could lead to a plethora of issues during battle since there are abilities that nullify projectiles, it made it harder to react to, etc.
  • Now uses the correct Explosion Particle Effect

Sandstone Idol
  • No longer Fatigue Immune
  • Melee is no longer considered magical
  • Projectile is no longer considered magical
  • Now has 15% magic resistance
  • Now has 15% physical resistance
  • Now has 15% missile resistance
  • Now has 8 ammunition instead of 10
  • Now uses the correct Explosion Particle Effect

Warpstone Idol
  • No longer Fatigue Immune
  • Now has 15% ward save
  • Now has 8 ammunition instead of 10
  • In addition to the bonus damage it gets against infantry, it now also does bonus damage against large as well
  • Corrected projectile display; originally its thrown projectile was invisible which made it impossible to know where it was going to land. This could lead to a plethora of issues during battle since there are abilities that nullify projectiles, it made it harder to react to, etc.

Aside the necessary changes for Radious, some stuff were done to make the additional Idols feel a bit more diverse while being good at their own things. For the most part though, their damage output is identical to the Rogue Idol since they're just variations of the same thing aside the fact they have ranged potential. Realistically, I feel as though the additional varieties of Idols would be rare so I made it so the AI don't typically make these as often (though it's not impossible for them to).
