Big update.

  • Replaced Shock and Awe with Long Haul due to mod updates allowing this to work now!
  • Allowed pairings with Heavy again due to the above.
  • Guaranteed Gun Bash at Sergeant for better synergies later in the tree.
  • Guaranteed Kinetic Plating at Brigadier, instead of having it compete with Panic Shot.
  • Moved Panic Shot down into Major/Colonel, and Butcher down into Lieutenant/Captain.
  • Added a custom handler to remove the vanilla GTS unlocks. Can be disabled via config.

Should be save-compatible as usual.

Small update.

  • Added an exclusion for Heavy. (conflict that could block perk picking on a specific rank) :(

Bugfix and balancing update.

  • Changed the squaddie ability to Shock And Awe to address a nasty bug. (see below)
  • Shuffled perks: Gun Bash is now Cpl./Sgt. (66% chance), Extra Boom shows up earlier.
  • Removed Lethal due to a lack of space, and it being a fairly common ability already.

This is a pretty heavy-handed patch, addressing an issue where the Rocketeer couldn't actually fire rocket launchers in certain setups. By guaranteeing one of the abilities the Rocket Launcher mod checks for (Shock And Awe) is available from the start, we ensure that we always have at least one rocket to fire.

This change does have the unfortunate side effect of us now sharing a perk with the Heavy specialization, but considering it's not guaranteed on there (66% chance) and the combination is ultra-rare anyways (9/4025) we should be okay.

Tiny update, nothing too fancy.

  • Removed the "lightrocket" weapon category, it wasn't being used anywhere.
  • Removed some unused files. Might speed up game load times very slightly?
  • Updated the mod thumbnail.

Small tweak on top of today's big overhaul update.

  • Moved Strong Arm to Lieutenant/Captain as the melee attack is already crazy strong as-is.
    (this cuts into variety a bit, but helps make the spec less stupid overpowered if rolled early)

Massive update to follow the overhaul the original class mod received.

Should be save-compatible, though new skills will only show up on new characters/rolls. The new exclusion might break characters (which a reroll will fix), but only affects one specific class combination -- the chances of having hit it are tiny.

  • Added a ton of new Rocketeer abilities, enough to comfortably fill out the entire tree.
  • Removed all non-Rocketeer filler: Pocket Flamer, Fortify, Salvo, Formidable, Biggest Booms
  • Moved Guided Rocket to corp/serg, made Gun Bash the starting ability. (per original class)
  • Added an exclusion for SkvAssassin as rocket launchers aren't particularly stealthy.
