  • Fixed early-on minor coding error that might be causing issues with Weapons that can be equipped.

Ability Tag Update:

  • Implimented Ability Tags for Custom and Ported Abilities - Custom and Ported Abilities changed in XComKPPTemplarKnightSkills.ini will now reflect when viewing the abilities.
  • Minor changes to descriptions to look better with new Ability Tag changes.

  • Buffed "Unending Hunger" - Devour will now activate at 5 HP instead of 4, and heals 4 HP instead of 3.
  • Fixed an issues with "Unending Hunger" that preventing the heal from applying more than once.
  • Updated all "Devour" abilities displayed damage values to show their minimum health requirement (will always be 3 or 5).
  • Fixed "Pervading Hunger" providing a Friendly Fire Warning when no such thing would happen.

  • Nerfed "Void Shock" by replacing with "Volt Shock" - Damage reduced by 1 point, otherwise functions the same.

  • Provided "Ghost" an additional charge - Can be used more than once, but has a 12 turn cooldown to prevent spamming, longer battles will allow a second Ghost to be spawned.

  • Replaced previous Proficiency Tier 1/2/3 Deflect Mechanic due to it not working.
  • Added new "Deflect" at Proficiency Tier 1 - Flat 25% deflect chance.
  • Added "Siphon" at Proficiency Tier 2 - Almost always mandatory pick up in order to use Psionic Abilities, now automatically acquire it.
  • No current Tier 3 Proficiency Ability - Until an ability that fits is concepted and made, there is none for now.

  • Replaced "Siphon" at Lieutenant with "Channel" - Activate to gain 1 Focus, requires a single action, requires a non-movement action.

  • Added Psionic Effects to the end of the "Warp" animation.
  • Added Psionic Effects to the activation and stun of "Overcharge" - Just a nice visual addition.
  • Added new icons for "Fracturing Strike" and "Quick Strike" - Easy to tell the difference instead of needed to read them.

This is one of the final full updates for this class as it has almost reached a fully finished state.

This update requires your class to be rebuilt due to an ability change, type "RebuildSelectedSoldiersClass" in console with Additional Soldier Console Commands in order to update your class.

Requirement Patch:

Removed Requirement for Proficiency Templar (at the request of Zigg Price, since it was simple to change).
Ported Proficiency Rend - Does literally the same thing as previous, added to make removal work.
Ported Proficiency Templar Icons - So everything looks the same (until I update atleast Fracturing and Quick Strike later).

Slight Damage Rework to Devour (forced due to previous change)
Devour, Unending Devour, and Searing Devour all (should) now instantly kill the opponent at their HP limit - No more hitting an enemy and they live because of damage resistance, they die now.
Pervading has no change (but the damage is implemented into the mod instead of using APA damage values).


As a side note, all of my hero classes (including the Commander class) will end up getting changes in the future that will make them compatibility outside of Proficiency Pack so people will be able to enjoy it without needing the pack.

Fixed an issue that made "Parry" not work for base Proficiency Templar.

Must Rebuild Soldier with Additional Soldier Commands to fix.

Replaced "Solace" at Major due to it interrupting the stun from "Psionic Overcharge".
Replaced with "Phase" Passive, the user is able to walk through walls and gain +2 Mobility.
Nerfed "Agile Step" from +3 to +2 Mobility.

Added 3 AWC Colonel perks that change how Devour is used, the game will randomly provide 1 to choose whenever the character is made.
Added "Unending Hunger" a passive that buffs "Devour", making it provide healing on use, and be able to be used on targets with 4 HP.
Added "Searing Hunger" a passive that buffs "Devour", making it cost 1 action point and be able to be used with Movement Actions.
Added "Pervading Hunger" a passive that buffs "Devour", making it explode on impact of a target, does not require targets to be 3HP or lower, cannot damage Allies.

Fixed "Warp", should no longer pull Overwatch.

Updated description of "Psionic Overcharge" so it says 'refunds actions for melee kills' to reflect providing Reaper.

Rework Update:


Added requirement for Chimera Squad Ability Icons, commonly used for my mods (and for new abilities in the mod).

Updated Description and added new Screenshots

Re-arranged skill tree, melee-focused abilities for 1st row, buffs and mobility for 2nd row, ranged and psionic abilities for 3rd row.

"Psionic Conduit" removed for "Battle Focus."

Added 7 custom abilities/passives (Psionic Overcharge, Fracturing Strike, Quick Strike, Warp, Devour, Siphon, and Agile Step)

Added "Ghost" from basegame, reworked to be better.

Static Lightning converted to AWC perk.

Chain Lightning made Captain Perk.

Added compatibility for Iridar's Templar Shield, made an AWC perk.

Removed Insanity, Schism, and Void Rift from skill tree.

Removed Null Lance from AWC.

Remade Soulbind and Consecrated Blades to work with new Focus System.

Invert and Exchanged moved to 2nd row.
