Reduced puppet warp subdivision to the lowest I can justify.

Redid the procedural clouds from scratch using the latest version of Gariams procedural noise effect.

Optimized animated clouds by removing redundant effects.

Added optional background bokeh blur.

Reorganized user properties.



The performance of this wallpaper is getting somewhat crazy. 100-200MB of texture memory, 40-50 render target changes, 70-80 draw calls and under 3000 primitives at all times. Also not a single effect is being used that wallpaper engine considers demanding. (I know this excludes Gariams Bokeh blur and procedural noise but those are quite well optimized on both ends.)

This was basically the testing ground for future projects. My plan is to get my catalogue to a standard that I'm satisfied with. That includes my old wallpapers, as some of them run really bad and sometimes don't even look that good.
I've learned a lot and might even make a guide on all the optimization options I've explored.

Semi-Rework:

Character is now one puppet warp layer instead of 4 separate layers.

Adjusted character animation to be more natural, as the body and legs can now act as one.

Improved character hair waving animation.

Refined some edges on the character layer.

Added optional background blur effect.

Added optional "audio glow" effect.

Adjusted foreground birds rendering.

Various performance optimizations by downscaling maps, using more performant effects and cutting redundant effects.

Forgot to make the media info fade out when no audio is playing.

Next update is gonna bring more audio effects, again better optimization and improved character animation.

Further improved optimization.
Pretty much everything is as low resolution as I can justify. The sky is 1/4, the clouds ~1/1.5 and the mountains are 1/2 resolution. All this results in the same percieved image quality while keeping the performance really high.
When using the procedural clouds it only uses 85MB of texture memory, which is kinda crazy for a 4K wallpaper.

Used the better optimization to implement my projection method for a blur effect on the birds in the foreground, which are also only being rendered at 1/3 resolution.

Removed intro for better performance.

Replaced old procedural clouds with a beta version of the new one.

Added user adjustable sliders for cloud coverage and hardness.
