Bug Fixes + 1

The Bugs Handled
  • Fixed inverted normals for sneakers so they are now rendering correctly instead of inside out
  • Saved bones properly for Uggs so now they won't float around super large on screen while giving endless errors
  • Dress Shoes Brown Ground model now utilizes the proper UV so it won't be brown specks when placed
  • Wellies/Rain Boots male version model inverted texture is also fixed so no more inside out rain boots too

One Other Thing
  • Added clearer language for the sandbox options dealing with the Addition submod so you know exactly what options impact those set of shoes.

Long Overdue Update + Content

New Content
  • Added 18 new pairs of footwear to the Additions Submod
    • Calf Converse (6 colors)
    • Champagne Boots (8 colors)
    • Cloth Boots (8 colors)
    • Diplomat Boots (10 colors)
    • Fur Lined Calf Boots (8 Colors)
    • Gucci Boots (4 colors)
    • Marisol Boots (8 colors)
    • New Balance Sneakers (13 colors)
    • Pirate Boots
    • Punk Boots (6 Colors)

    • Reindeer Slippers
    • Slip on Sneakers (8 colors)

  • Added sandbox settings to reset Combat and Run speed modifiers back to 1. Always good to be able to adjust to varying people's play styles.

SubMod Changes
  • Reconfigured the Standalone mod to only have vanilla variants. There was confusion about which mods to use because of HOW I SET IT UP (my apologies)
  • Vanilla Overhaul is if you want COMPLETE replacement of vanilla shoes. Will spawn on zombies, will have vanilla based distribution, and you wont have access to any vanilla versions.
  • Standalone creates variants of vanilla but not overrides so you will have both. You will need to toggle spawns on for it to populate distribution
  • CHOOSE EITHER Overhaul OR Standalone not both
  • Additions submod can be used by itself OR with one of the other options.

General Changes
  • Updated ALL loot distribution to launch on pre distribution event to help snag sandbox settings before changing how each item is distributed
  • All old shoes were retextured and UVs updated to work better with the core games masking system. Won't be perfect but should lead to a lot less issues with invisible clothing when wearing custom shoes
  • Attempted a custom mask to work with shoes in this set up. Does overlap with the space used by legs but it seemed to be the most minimal impact on other clothing (cannot say the same for modded clothing)
  • Updated BodyLocations to move Shoes above Dress and Jacket to help with render order so shoes shouldn't impact masking as much as previous updates
    • If any other mod overwrites BodyLocation file and comes after these mods in the mod list it may lead to a few masking errors with Jackets and Dresses.
  • Invsifix submod is unnecessary now due to those changes to textures/masks and so overrides were reverted. It is not deleted as sometimes steam is weird with files. Instead it won't make any specific changes and you can remove the mod whenever you choose.

    General
    • Balanced and Updated weights of a lot of items, this was to work away from the default of 1 kg. This will lead to the majority of items to be reduced in weight but a few slightly increased.
    • Added combat modifiers to some footwear in VSO and Additions
    • If you want to stick with pure vanilla stats (all shoes weighing 1kg and no combat modifiers) then I suggest using the standalone module

    - Created a standalone version that doesn't overwrite vanilla Shoes
    - Standalone comes with specific sandbox options to allow for vanilla variants and additions to spawn you can choose Both, one, or none (if you want it restricted to admin spawns only)
    - Changed stats of all shoes in all various mods to include appropriate condition max
    - Added loot distribution for the vanilla variants for the standalone version which can be influenced by loot settings of the mod
    - Added a sandbox options to reimplement vanilla stats on shoes so the condition can lower and holes can be made
    - Added a sandbox option to also include the ability to patch shoes
    - These options are split up between vanilla overhaul versions and addition version so you can pick and choose
    - Unfortunately these settings are not retroactive and so it will only impact future spawns
    - Added 12 new colorways for the Jordan 1s and added a few different rare spawns for you to track down these versions
    - Added Wedding Jacket, Wedding Dress, and Suit Jackets to invisi fix to stop the tranparency of those specific vanilla items

    Version 1.03
    - Fixed missing display category for Bowling Shoes
    - Changed all shoes to not get holes and removed the condition perimeters
    - Reorganized the BodyLocation Lua file so vests properly render while wearing any of the new shoes
    - Remodeled almost every single shoe to reduce clipping
    - Reworked models were made as compatible as possible to tucked in pants for Spongie + Shark/Peach clothing mods
    - Resized the front of military boots as they were close to being a bit clownish in size
    - Separated the Olive / Woodland colored Military Boot as to be more compatible with mods that rename the military boot to Black military boot
    - Added a simple loot distribution for those 2 additional versions of military boots as they will not spawn on zombies now
    - Removed unnecessary XML files in the invisi fix module
    - Darkened Texture for hiking boots as they seemed a bit...cartoony for me

    -- A few options were impossible for ME to work with the pants - Lab Boots / Spiked Boots (although much better) / Lockhart Boots

    Core: More Shoes Vanilla Shoes Overhaul
    - Added 3D Models for all Vanilla footwear (17 shoes)
    - Added world item models for the new shoe replacements
    - Added color variations to a handful of those shoes
    - Military Boots:Olive & Woodland
    - Shoes Brown: Dark, Medium, & Light
    - Shoes Random: Two toned Black/White, Blue/Brown, Grey/Brown, & Light Brown
    - Riding Boots: Brown Version added
    - Shoe Trainers: Eliminated random tint but added Sneakers Original, Black, Orange, Pink, and White

    - Created custom icons for a many that shared the same black dress shoe icon in Vanilla
    - Overwrites clothing xml files of original shoes and therefore they will appear on the general zed population

    Add on: More Shoes Additions
    - Added 18 additional footwear options in the game
    - Half of those options include multiple color schemes
    - Will add in an exhaustive list at a later point (don't want to ruin the initial surprise for players)
    - Stats are comparable to shoes found in the vanilla game
    - The new shoes have been added to a loot distribution table and found generally in the same locations as other shoes
    - A few options have been added to be rewarded to players by admins and were not added to the distribution table
    - Additional shoes are already planned for future updates.
    - Same care and precision as the vanilla overhaul was placed in these new models to be efficient in size and limit clipping
    - Sandbox options were added to influence the loot disribution
    - Would like to at some point remove the option to spawn in with the footwear as I want you to seek out and collect
