Update: 16 Jan, 2023 @ 7:21pm

Restored the ability to smoke while meditating (among other actions), hopefully without borking the ability to meditate by a campfire (or anything else). Please let me know if anyone has any issues with this update! I would like to restore actions while sitting without causing any other complications for people who do not take action while meditating; I will address any bugs that arise from this ASAP if you contact me via the Project Zomboid Discord.

Hopefully, of course, it will just work and be glorious.

Update: 11 Jan, 2023 @ 10:59pm

Added ability to rest while awaiting invisibility during long waits.

Update: 11 Jan, 2023 @ 10:41pm

Added better halo note feedback for players who must wait before meditating.

Allowed players to simply wait until meditation is available to activate, even if they need to wait for a minute or two.

Update: 8 Jan, 2023 @ 10:43pm

Added the ability to see other players meditating online.

Update: 8 Jan, 2023 @ 10:36pm

Temporary reversion.

Update: 8 Jan, 2023 @ 10:32pm

Mistakes were made.

Update: 2 Jan, 2023 @ 1:39pm

Added a variety of improvements to the code.

Moved Meditate context option to the position above Sit on ground by default. Again, please feel free to revert to the original position via Mod Options if you do not prefer this (I included an option), but the only reason it wasn't originally like this is because I didn't know how to do it.

Added a built-in bonus feature that will make certain grammatically inconsistent menu options (such as "Sit on ground" and "Remove vegetation") more consistent with other options by renaming them in standard title format ("Sit on Ground" for example; also, "Walk to" became "Walk" in this mode after much deliberation, lol).

Renaming of menu options is intentionally added after all other context menu edits (or as late as possible in that loop) in order to play nicely with any other mods that depend on the original name, but if you have any issues, there is as always a Mod Option for disabling this new feature (and of course please feel welcome to share the details in the comments, as I will definitely try to address any issues that could theoretically arise from this).

Update: 24 Dec, 2022 @ 3:41pm

Improved workshop description.

Improved mod.info and especially its appearance in MODS (accessed via main menu after launching Project Zomboid).

Added Mod Options as an explicit REQUIREMENT FOR THIS MOD TO WORK, as some people may not have realized that it is a different mod that they must install in order to access the in-game settings offered by Meditation. Please subscribe to Mod Options in order to ensure that Meditation will continue working normally, as mods do not load if their required mods are not installed!

Sorry if this confuses anyone, but I always intended Mod Options to be a requirement of this mod; I simply missed a line in my mod.info and only now fixed it. Without Mod Options, you cannot access several in-game settings, and I want to make sure everyone is aware that these settings exist and can be changed!

Update: 24 Dec, 2022 @ 3:10pm

Minor description changes to accompany last update.

Update: 24 Dec, 2022 @ 3:02pm

Added a sandbox option for requiring players to read about meditation before they can train to acquire special abilities!

Fixed a couple small bugs that have not yet been reported, most likely because the combination of settings under which they occurred is an unpopular one.

Added several new halo notes to help people track state changes that pertain to this mod's many features.

Turned on Halo Notes by default for people who are new to the mod. They can still be disabled in Mod Options.

Updated workshop.txt and mod.info.
