NEW YEARS UPDATE! Not as big but it cleans up the big update so kinda...

Error Correction:

  • ThoughtWorker_NeedPlagueLust was causing red errors on pawns that had a Chemical Need (like Wake-Up need/addiction) because I didn't specify my custom Plaguelust "Chemical" need but rather ANY Chemical need.

Plaguelust changes:
  • So my mind completely forgot that once Plaguelust hits zero, overload begins. However, it would only last up until the very first hit as Plaguelust would then go above zero and END overload making it pointless... oops.

New Hediff:
  • Overload Boost: Now when Plaguelust hits zero, after a few seconds, your pawn will be given an Overload Boost to show that their bonded persona core has had enough. This boost will also instantly trigger Manhunter and lasts for 0.3 days. Good luck.

You can expect MORE balance passes to be made over the coming weeks as I wish to finalize this new addition and get it off its experimental phase.

NEW YEARS EVE UPDATE!!! This is a BIG one!

Reworks:

  • Mechanite Infector no longer spawns a bonus burster on successful incubation and new infection rates are as follows: Infection Severity range of 9 ~ 12% with a Proc chance of 75%.
  • Both Mechanite Infector and Mechanite Infester have been given new trait exclusions to prevent in-game logic errors and they are as follows:

    • Mechanite Infector can no longer spawn with Vampiric (draining the blood of someone who now has the mechanite plague sounds counter-productive and potentially lethal) and Machan't (Somehow missed the trait that gives immunity to all mechanites...)

    • Mechanite Infester will not spawn with Kill-euphoric (defeats the Plaguelust system entirely), Machan't, Freewielder (Mod works on bond) and ANY weapon trait that gives an addiction/need.
THE BIG BAD THIRD TRAIT:
  • Mechanite Infester: A dastardly trait that guarantees infection on every hit plus delivers more bursters than your average Mechanite Plague weapon. Please see pinned discussion for full list of additions this bad boy has. Please note that it is EXPERIMENTAL and I am welcoming any feedback both on this trait and the mod as a whole for balance purposes.

You can expect balance passes to be made over the coming weeks as I wish to finalize this new addition and get it off its experimental phase.
