2.1.1 Fix a subtle bug when resolving a Mercatorum subject's deficit situations

Update: 28 May, 2023 @ 9:29pm

2.1.0 Add built-in support for several flavors of Ethics & Civics (Bug Branch, Classic, Redux, FunEFork)

  • Countries on certain steps of Origin: Under One Rule may not be converted to a Mercatorum (the Legendary Leader has too much political influence, plus it's not allowed by the Corporate authority in the base game)
  • Bug Branch does not require MegaCorps to be Competitive, so no additional ethics changes are made
  • Swap Socialist countries to the corresponding Capitalist ethic when converted to a Mercatorum
  • Countries that are not Capitalists shift one step towards Capitalism when converted to a Mercatorum
  • Swap Xenophobic countries to the corresponding Xenophilic ethic when converted to a Mercatorum (FunEFork only)

Update: 16 May, 2023 @ 4:21am

    Update: 27 Apr, 2023 @ 9:59pm

1.1.1 Fix a few bugs with Imperial Fiefdom

    • Choosing the be a Mercatorum converts you instantly to a MegaCorp (instead of at the end of the conversion period, which is when it applies to regular subjects)
    • Ensure the the branch office on your Overlord's capital is owned by your empire
    • Mercatorum National/Corporate HQ buildings can exist for Mercatora which have not finished conversion, which enables Imperial Fiefdoms to start with the intended free branch office building and your overlord with the corresponding holding

    Update: 27 Apr, 2023 @ 9:07pm

1.1.0 Imperial Vassals can choose to begin the game as a Mercatorum

    • Only one Imperial Vassal can choose to become a Mercatorum
    • Fix the title of the Overlord Special Dividends event which incorrectly referred to the Overlord itself
    • Refactor economic subsidies for Mercatora so that they do not break Basic and Advanced subsidies for other subjects - however, you will need to renegotiate the agreement with your Mercatorum to re-establish commercial or infrastructure taxes/subsidies (they are no longer resource sliders and appear near the bottom of agreement terms)
    • Significantly simplify event code for enforcing the limit of one Mercatorum subject
    • Mercatorum HQ buildings (both branch office and holding) give +1 envoys to the building owner (the Mercatorum or Overlord respectively)
    • Mercatora now have a narrower range of Research and Strategic taxes/subsidies
