New:
Two new normal Aerials are added to Space Jesters, “Dat A HitBox” and “Jack NO!!!”
Blue portals now exist, which they're similar to Normal Portals, but have a lifespan of 120 ticks and cannot be used for hand gestures.
Space Jester can create Blue portals using ground movement options such as Dash Forward, Dash Backward, and Jump

Space Jester

New:
Space Jester now has the ability to create portals using ground movement options such as Dash Forward, Dash Backward, and Jump. This will create a portal close to the user and the opponent. It will cost 1 Portal Stack.

Slashing a Portal: Original hitbox only hits aerial. New hitbox created for ground and aerial

Note this is an adjustment to balance them out while I work on the revamp version of the characters. This will remove any of the issues concerning either the frame data, abilities holding no risk, or combos being impossible to escape.

Damage Proration has been set for some attacks
Air Option has set to 2 from 3
Start out with 4 knives from 5.
Space Jester will stop gaining Portal stacks if they're too far away from opponent

Portals: Portals now can transfer projectiles and Space Jester on the other side with a cooldown. Portals have 3 HP which goes down when the following goes though the portal:

Space Jester and opponent who is hurt: 1 HP
Projectile: 2 HP
Opponent who is NOT hurt: 3 HP

Portals will no longer deal damage to the opponent. Portals can now be travel though even if portal is performing an attack.

EYES!: IASA updated to 14f from 9f. Force to move forward set to 1.0 speed from 3.0
Flick your brat to Space: No longer Guard breaks. Plus Frame updated to 1 from 2. Damage update to 70 from 90. Start tick updated to 8 from 11. Active Tick updated to 3 from 2

Balance Update:

Air Option: Increase Air Option to 3 from 2
Slashing a Portal : The D.I. settings be fixed to the default settings
Name This Laser: : Adjustments will be made to lower the damage, however damage will increase depending on the number of lasers on the opponent. Hitstun will be adjusted based on laser's duration so opponent will have a chance to be free after attack instead of an extended combo.
17: IASA will be increased so this attack can be punishable. Removing ability to push back opponent when they parry.

Slashing a Portal:
A portal will not be created if the opponent blocks/parries
You can only use Slashing a Portal once while on the ground or air. Restrictions reset when either jumping or landing

Space Jester Version 1.01 patch

Issue 1: "Fallen" breaks the game when fighting against Space Jester.

Solution 1: The issue is with how Fallen disables projectiles. With how disable works with the portals, this will cause a crash if projectile was disable by other means. Therefore, to resolve this, the function before disabling will now happen within the disable function. (NOTE: some abilities which shouldn't be disabled by this mean will not be destroyed by other sources except itself)

Issue 2: Getting close to Space Jester is difficult. With the options he has there are barely any safe routes to catch him or to follow him. He can make a house and pretty much live in it, with all intruders willing to enter will die. Also, Space Jesters is being rewarded with faster portal gain by doing nothing or getting hit. Space Jester have portals for days just from running away.

Solutions 2: Space Jester will gain only 1 charge for Space Portals per tick. Space Jester can gain 20 charges for each successful melee hit landed on the opponent. Teleport will be adjusted as follow:

Teleport
Portal will now disappear after using Teleport
Space Jester will teleport after 6f from 4f
Teleport attack no longer triggers hit cancel

Space Portal charge starts at 2 from 1.
Knives stacks starts at 5 from 6

Flick
Hitstun decreases to 30f from 50f

Flick Up and Down
Removed the 3f hitbox, making it only a 5f attack
Flick Up doesn't launch you into space anymore
