Balance Patch 1.9:
- The duration of Duality's buffs (prot and crit rec. in Aspired mode, damage reflection and crit rec. in Attuned mode) has been reduced from 4 rounds -> 3 rounds.

*In vanilla, the Man-at-Arms, Houndmaster, and Antiquarian all have guards which grant defensive buffs. All of these buffs have 3 turn durations. This update standardises the Resonant's guard to do the same. (I'm not sure why it was 4 rounds to begin with.)

Resonant Balance Patch 1.8:
- The mortality buffs the Resonant received upon suffering a heart attack have been removed.
- Deus Ex Machina camp skill buff durations reduced from until camp to 4 battles.
- Futility now has a 1 round cooldown.
- Futility now has +10% debuff chance and +5 ACC.
- Duality is no longer usable in ranks 1 or 2
- Enlightenment no longer grants a DMG bonus to the Resonant's riposte attack.
- Cruelty now gains armor piercing while afflicted.

*Although I loved the idea of the Resonant getting permanent buffs upon suffering a heart attack, it ended up being way too powerful and self synergistic. It rewarded players for mismanaging their stress, which was antithetical to the Resonant's core design.

*Deus Ex Machina originally had until camp duration on its buff as I feared they were too situational. However, after further review I have decided to cut it back to the standard duration of 4 battles. Although it's not possible to tell when the skill saved you from losing a hero, it is still a potent insurance button that grants peace of mind.

*Futility ended up being far too spammable for its own good. There are a lot of enemies and bosses where spamming the debuff would completely neuter the enemy. By buffing the chance of the debuffs applying but giving it a cooldown, it will remain as a potent but less spammy debuff.

*The positional nerf to Duality was not intended to nerf that specific skill, but to make the Resonant generally more vulnerable to being shuffled. Duality in particular makes it very easy to survive a shuffle by throwing a force guard up and waiting for other heroes to reposition, but now that will no longer be possible.

*Enlightenment's riposte generally was doing more damage output than intended. Removing the 15% dmg bonus should help to tone it down a little bit.

*A noted problem with Cruelty was that it became mostly redundant once the Resonant was afflicted. Epiphany generally does a lot more damage, which far outweighs the increased stress it causes compared to Cruelty. Adding armor piercing to Cruelty should give it more of niche in these situations, although Epiphany is meant to mostly outstrip it.

*Although this patch introduced a lot of nerfs, I still feel the Resonant is very potent class. Her ability to ignore stress paired with all of the utility she brings makes her useful in virtually any team with an open back rank slot. This patch should generally reduced her strength a little bit whilst not removing the parts of her that make her fun to play.
