1.2.5.1 "Artificial Descent & Haunted Waters Update"

- 60+ new items:

ice barrier potion (+8 armor, +10% endurance when above 50% health and 10% chance to dodge when below 50% health, can be bought from wisp merchant in hardmode, and also each master class bag drops 1-3)

a bunch of new haunted weapons:
spiritite bars, haunted souls etc.

sets of scrap metal/brass/rusty cog/cog weapons and ammo that match the steampunk theme have been added

steampunker now sells steampunk-themed items:
rusty high velocity bullets, automated arrows etc.

soap (master mode item sold by merchant in hardmode, allows transforming select items to upgraded versions or reverting them back to their original form)

and many more!

- 2 new mini-bosses for master mode:

(post eye of cthulhu)
- unholy skeleghron - drops spirit gear (it is recommended to fight him post evil bosses though as he has similar stats to skeletron)
skeleghron's gimmick is that he's a ghost, so his head's hitbox is actually below him, where his souleye portal resides (can't miss it, it shoots souleyes at you) it's also pretty small so homing projectiles are recommended

- true eye of cthulhu - drops haunted gear and may drop "lost fractal"

- 4 new npc invasion events:

coldflame lantern now starts "artificial descent event" underground while in master mode: scrap golems, mechanical bats, wisps, and wandering skeletons spawn, in hardmode mecha-eyezors and brass skeleton gunners also spawn

radioflame lantern starts "radioactive army event" ANYWHERE so keep that in mind, various radioactive foes will spawn, in prehardmode only radgoblin peons will spawn to allow farming radioactive blood more easily, it's a hardmode event (it is also recommended to invoke it in the caverns since it's considerably easier due to terrain variation and more npcs should spawn then if you're looking to farm)

haunted brew/potion buff will now also start "haunted waters event" in master mode beach, after plantera has been slain: haunted slimes, haunted spirits and spiritflame worms spawn

entering the graveyard during goblin army post skeletron will start "ghosblin army event" ghosblins will spawn and drop interesting soul loot

- 10+ new npcs:

nightglow merchant - new wandering merchant that rarely spawns in forests at night after eye of cthulhu has been slain
coldflame lantern also works greatly on nightglow merchants, but also attracts goblin thieves while in forests
magic and summoner gear has been migrated from goblin merchant to nightglow merchant
luck accessories have been migrated from goblin merchant to nightglow merchant
he also may sell something interesting during blood moon post skeletron in master mode ʕ •ᴥ•ʔ

and more!

- balance changes:

merchant now also sells lifeform analyzer

flying slimes now can also drop softfeather wings

hollows and elemental spirits now have much less health, however they always take 1 damage

nerfed treasure goblins' life

radgoblin peons will now also spawn during artificial army event, after goblin army has been taken down, they still spawn during goblin army but now require coldflame lantern present in inventory. they also now inflict radiated debuff instead of radioactive debuff

toxic slimes now naturally spawn much more rarely, however they spawn quite often during radioactive descent event

tweaked master starting bags loot

gadget, slime and soulslime boots can now dash

goblin thieves can now also occasionally inflict poison

most shields got buffed or re-worked (vanilla included)

molten, steel, star and ghastly shields can now dash just like shield of cthulhu

web-covered greatsword now has a swing animation and is now also sold by goblin merchant after eye of cthulhu has been slain

merchant now sells some swords as well

re-worked "golden" accessories and updated their names to be more original

starting master accessories no longer "work" after skeletron (they apply a buff that drastically drains life and reduces endurance by 90%, so switching to another master accessory is pretty much required unless you're a masochist!)

enchanted nectar now grants 1 minion slot, knockback bonus got increased from 25% to 33% but it no longer grants flat summon damage boost

shiny minion bait now grants only 1 minion slot but also grants +3 flat summon damage

re-worked haunted/spirit accessories to actually be worth equipping

removed npc happiness requirement to buy items, feel free to imprison them >:-)

re-adjusted some npc shops and item prices

broken tools are now sold by mechanic in hardmode

re-adjusted some npc drop chances

added a lot of recipes for vanilla items, for ex. musket balls

empty bullets can now be crafted pre-hardmode with steel

some bone weapons are now craftable

haunted waters gear got re-worked and re-tiered to post-plantera

fishing haunted waters gear now requires drinking haunted brew or haunted potions, which can now be crafted

luck system changes:

- added luck-based catching for certain fishing loot
- added luck requirement for most legendary items to drop from npcs
- luck requirement varies between drops, you can check the exact value inside beastiary
- many master mode accessories now also increase luck by 0.25 or more, so legendary drops are more more common

downloading "display luck count" mod is highly recommended to be aware of your luck count!

fixed sand slimes spawning in water, they now spawn on sand and are severely slower in water
