Version 2.1 Patch

-Reduced across all relevant islands the tile spawn-rates of lava tiles that have large light sources. This should improve frame rates for all islands with lava tiles. The issue was related to the huge size of the light sources and the shadow calculations resulting from that, I believe (the shadows were cast almost across the whole 6-8km island, including out to sea).
-Fixed several cases of island-generation failure.
-Stress tested island generation - aside from any extremely rare edge cases, I think I've nixed any situations where islands would fail to spawn.

Version 2.0 Major Update

-Refined all generation parameters using the new developer editors. Terrain should appear smoother and be more readable and understandable in the variety of view modes in map screens.
-The above refinement should improve AI vehicle pathfinding on some of the more complex and larger varieties of islands.
-Trees have returned.
-added new island type - sundered! These islands have been damaged by the planet-destroying attempts taking place. These islands serve as a physical representation of the damage slowly being done.

Version 1.3 Major Update

-Fixed: All biomes/islands should now spawn without any issues
-Fixed: Home islands should spawn without any issues
-Fixed: Massively increased stability and performance - games should generate a rate comparable to an unmodified game.

-Update: increased large-scale features present on islands, whilst still maintaining smaller details.
-Update: increased island size in some cases (16km islands may sometimes appear!).

-Issue: islands further away from spawn point may take a few moments to a few minutes to appear on maps. They *have* spawned, the map is just taking it's time loading in fully.

Hot-fix patch
-Fixed an issue causing several islands to not generate terrain.

Known Issues
-Some islands are not generating terrain under the command centre. Currently investigating.

Fixed
-Islands would sometimes fail to be created
-Trees would still spawn, either normally or at 0.1x scale

New/Updated Features
-Islands are now slightly larger
-Islands should present far less "maze-like" features, resulting in endless cliffs across the islands
-Islands will now be generated closer together (to a minimum of 4km apart)
-Tree spawns are now reduced to an absolute minimum. The player should encounter far less trees in playthroughs, helping with AI pathfinding.
-Prefabs and structures will now flatten the land more around them, allowing more space for them to exist around them.

Issues
-The starting island will no longer be generated. Although a bug, this likely will become an intended feature, as the presence of the island during generation may or may not cause issues with the carrier and the drydock at game start.
-The above bug does not affect carrier undocking, nor barge generation/use. The barge will still be fully useable and undamaged at game start.
