organized all crafting lists by alphabetical order
this is a big change that required deleting entries in the crafting lists, so let me know if I missed something as soon as possible
ashland shirt now requires additional research "Treated Leather" to be unlocked at the research bench
as before with advanced armor smithing, this is new research and you'll still be able to craft the ashland shirt if it was already unlocked before
removed weak armor, like ronin's samurai armor, from strong npcs like elite hunters and similar samurai
buffed ronin's samurai armor coverage
nerfed ranger armor coverage, weather protection and bonuses
nerfed rebel samurai armor coverage and bonuses
changed drifter goggles crafting to clothing bench
changed ninja clothpants, ninja ragpants, and flotsam pants crafting to leather bench
enabled coloring on some of the samurai armors
Unfortunately, it was extremely buggy when I tried applying my custom color map to these armors, so for now I'll only be able to enable coloring until I find a solution.
new belt slot flotsam mask variant "visage of narko"
when worn with the old mask, the new mask will override it. It's a pretty cool function.
However, this may be temporary. I'm not sure I want to use the overlap feature like that or make a bunch of extra meshes.

EVA 1.5.5
changed advanced armor smithing to appear at the research bench. This is actually new research, so the old AAS blueprint was renamed to Knight Armor. Previous blueprints which relied on the old AAS, now require the new research at the research bench. If you've already used the old AAS blueprint and any others that relied on it, they should still appear in the crafting menu regardless of this change.
buffed tsume mk3 a bit
removed knight armor from spawning on low level skeleton bandits. It still spawns on upgraded skeleton bandits
tweaked upgraded skeleton bandit armor spawns
added a new overlap mesh for knight armor so it has better interactions with pants like samurai legplates
modified the mesh of holy armor so more parts are affected by its color map these changes apply to the entire set
renamed the Assassin mask to Cultist mask. It's now associated with another, more fitting group and can only be found there. also tried to fix the seam that appears on the mask
^also enabled a unique version of the mask that spawns on their guards^
cultist mask is crafted at clothing bench instead of the leather bench which was an error

fixed accidental mesh replacement of the female assassin's shirt with the female assassin's leather armor. The aforementioned armor should be using the corrected mesh now

finally replaced that terrible thumbnail

all BELT items will now only provide weather protection and/or fitting bonuses. NO damage resistance.
optimized a few textures saving around ~16mb!!
reduced the size of a few color maps
Rebalanced a lot of stuff. Mostly made the stats and penalties more consistent with their vanilla counterparts
rebalanced barbarian/berserker leathers and merc shoulder plates with the hope of making them actually worth wearing
Added more penalties to the assassin's leather armor because it was super overpowered compared to the other medium leather armors
Changed tsume headgear to a pair of belt slot goggles
nerfed ranger armor a bit
also changed the ranger coat stats so its more like the dust coat
mercenary hats no longer require advanced armor smithing to craft
removed BURNING protection from ashland turtleneck. it was kinda pointless since players that want death laser protection would just use the dustcoat anyways.
Tin Can Padded can now be dyed through faction color schemes

rebalanced armor in this update: the entire tsume/talon set, ragpants (light, med, hev), plate jackets medium and heavy (all colors), police jacket Mk1 and Mk2 (all colors), barbarian/berserker leathers, mercenary shoulder plates, ranger coat, ranger armor, assassin's leather armor, and possibly others.

~7 new items
Most notably 2 kettle hats, a sallet, and a coat inspired by the NCR Veteran armor from Fallout New Vegas.
Ashland Shirt - buffed weather protection and price by 20%. Lower penalties
Tsume armors - removed the pouches. This is because the texture for them no longer exists. the mk2 still has its cute canteen tho. also edited the model shading
reduced garru pack no light spawn rate AGAIN.
reduced ashlander shirt spawn rate because again the game loves to randomly spam stuff
Police Armor is now part of the Tsume set. This is currently placeholder so blueprints/crafting/etc can change again cause idk what to do with it
merged a few textures saving around ~10mb. More optimizations to come. there's A LOT of inefficient use of texture space in this mod.
added a bunch of armors to the artifacts list so a lot of stuff will spawn as loot where armor can be found in ruins
^the spread sheet will not reflect this change for now

removed gar pack no light from all shops except farm shops also reduced spawn chance
added some fisting protection to barbarian, berserker and merc shoulder plates
reduced assassin leahter armor left arm coverage by 10%
increased ragplate arm coverage by 5%
removed penalties from samurai open helmet and changed armor class to medium
