-Undersea hydrophones cant send active anymore

New missions:

Mine Warfare

Update: 14 Jan @ 2:04pm

Update 7:

-Added Simrad_Hull passive sonar to Minelayer Keihässalmi.
(This is not certain but highly probable that ships had undewater listening ability.
We know about Ruotsinsalmi having one and Riilahti which Keihässalmi is based on having one as well.
Keihässalmi was lost in ASW operation anyway. Then again she had lots of stuff installed during its career).
-RBS-15SF is now sea skimming at 15 feet.

Missions:
Baltic Strike - The Dragon visits Gulf of Finland

Update: 8 Jan @ 11:22am

Update 6:

-Pirate Hunt 2011 mission
-some bug fixes

Update: 31 Dec, 2024 @ 2:27pm

Update 5:

Minelayers and minelaying capability. Rudimentary sea mine that can be placed to water (I used torpedo so, not the best choice here)

Ships:

fin_Helsinki - 8 low flying RBS-15SF
fin_Helsinki_land_attack - Helsinki with 4 low flying and 4 land attack RBS-15SF
fin_Pohjanmaa - Sole member of her class, Pohjanmaa was the flagship of Finnish Navy up untill 2013. Comissioned in 1979, initial armamemnt consisted on Bofors 120mm Automatic Gun L/46 later replaced by 57mm gun. As minelayer the ships task would be mine Gulf of Finland in the event of the hostilities. Pohjanmaa first served as school ship, replacing Matti Kurki (HMS Porlock Bay) on 1982. The ship underwent heavy modernization program in 1996-1998, and was part of Operation Atalanta in 2011.
fin_Keihassalmi - First Finnish navy ship build after ww2. Keihässalmi was very basic ship for minelaying, simple to maintain and use. Since Finns didn't have dedicated gunboats it even had 76mm gun at one point. Launched in 1957, flagship in 1960s, refitting and MLU 75-81 with gunnery radar and ballast tanks. Museum ship since 1994.

Ammo:
fin_influence_mine - Elementtimiina EM/75-Ant, weapon that can be deployed from minelayer (ok, not the best thing ever - I used torpedo as base)
fin_bottom_mine - "not quite working" (should be diving to 120ft) weapon that can be deployed from minelayer, intelligent mines are still out of
scope of Sea Power.

Missions:
Loviisa NPP
Rohu Strike

Update: 17 Dec, 2024 @ 1:38pm

Update 4: *Christmas Present-update* - New ships!

Ships:
fin_Turunmaa -Finns have a apparent thing with gunboats. While rest of world was gearing towards missile age, Finnish navy wanted a gunboat. Other nations would call this corvette, but Finns had long tradition of undernaming their weapon systems. Class was named after Turunma-class sail frigates of 18/19th centuries. First of its class Karjala was ordered 1965 from Wartsila docks and was launched in 1967. Transferred in 1979 to Gunboat squadron (TykkiLv) and 1987 as Missile squadron (OhjusLv) lead ship. Sister ship Turunmaa was launced in 1968 and refitted in 1986. Navy gave up on ships in 2001 as obsolete and crew demanding.
fin_Helsinki - Helsinki-class missile boat is a class of four fast attack craft built for the Finnish Navy. The vessels were designed as fast attack crafts, but designated "missile boats" in the Finnish Navy, as if to tone down their offensive capabilities, which are top notch. Helsinki was clearly top of the high tech ship back at 80s. They were armed with 4-8 RBS-15SF SSMs (Mark 2), one dual-purpose Bofors 57 mm gun, two SAKO 23 mm double-barreled anti-aircraft guns and two depth charge racks. During the late 1990s, the class was due to undergo a mid-life upgrade but metal fatigue was spotted in the older ships, with ships scrapped or sold to Croatia.'

Sensors:
Sea_Giraffe_150 - C-band radar used by multiple navies. While not 100% certain this model was on Helsinki class boats, it's on the ballpark of realism.
SS304_Spira - Norweigan hull-mounted sonar by Simrad for finding mines and submersibles.

Missions:
The Last Gunfighter - Turunmaa escorts convoy when Americans attack.
Lavansaari 1985 - Torpedo boats sunk russian cruiser moored at Lavansaari, like in 1941.

Changes:
MTO85 Land attack missile has now flight level in 600 feet.

Update 3: Guns and Missiles

Land:

fin_130K54 - M-46 Howizer by other name. Wrong chassis but works. Triassic should add bestseller towed artillery like M-46 and/or D-30 to game.
fin_130TK - In reality it's own product, in game 100TK with different gun. Added infrared sight to point out the augumented abilities of 130TK.
fin_ItOhj78 - SA-7B Strela by other name. I used naval version of SA-N-5. I guess it works. First patch of sales was 122 launchers and 1091, so 12 missiles is practical maxium of shots. These were used to reinforce 6 brigades, and even experimentation went on how to defend against cruise missiles - tactic that was used later in Ukraine.

Aircraft:
fin_mi8 - Finnish air force and border guard (rajavartiolaitos, Rvl) aquired Mi-8T already back in 1973, finally retiring them in 2006. Both Mi-8T and Mi-8P (passenger) versions were used. Borderguard versions didn't have MAD or dipping sonar, and were used in rescue missions. However type could be armed with rocket pods.

Ammo:

fin_SA-7B - Faster reload version of SA-N-5 Grail (naval version of Strela). Finns didn't really use four launcher gadget, so this should be changed in future updates.
