- Significant balance changes. Battles should now last longer and be more spectacular.
- Some visual and sound effects have been reworked and improved.
- Ship textures and models have been completely overhauled (thanks, Jack Swan).
- Work has begun on the ship captain's voice system, which will announce various events.
- Chaos ships added: the Iconoclast-class destroyers, Renegade, and Sacrilegist (the latter two are variants of the Iconoclast).
- Work has begun on Chaos raiders.

- Implemented Attack Craft. Now you can launch squadrons of interceptors and bombers to fight off enemy torpedoes and destroy ships.
- AC squadrons have a complex behavior system that influences their actions. When launched in a direction, they move and engage any enemy they find; when launched towards a ship, they will escort that ship and engage targets in range.
- If a squadron runs out of ammo or mission time, it will try to return to the ship that launched it.
- Added new ship: Tempest-class Strike Frigate; a Sword-class refitted with launch bays.

- Implemented All Ahead Full order. Every ship now has a 'boost' weapon that can be fired to greatly increase speed at the cost of reduced maneuverability.
- Engine effects now scale with throttle.
- Implemented ramming logic. Now colliding ships deal damage to each other based on their relative velocity, complete with SFX.
- Implemented Auto-Repair logic: damaged ships now slowly regenerate armor in small increments.
- Torpedo rework: launchers now have a muzzle effect to them, and torpedoes have received a visual/sound overhaul too. Ships now react to torpedoes locking on them.
- Macrocannon rework: new muzzle flash and impact SFX/VFX.
- Void shield rework: shield is a bubble now.
- Major balancing changes: reduced velocity of all ships, increased weapon battery efficiency.
