I decided to give this old gal some TLC :)

  • Fixed and updated all codes
  • Fixed projector offsets

  • Added more heavy armour layering
  • Minor aesthetic changes to save on mass
  • Increased forward thrust with 4 small ion thrusters
  • Improved turning rate with 5 extra gyros
    • Replaced a few redundant systems to accomplish this. She still has plenty of power to spare!

Big Update!

  • GASP missile program has seen various improvements
    • When its vital blocks are damaged, the missile locks its gyro and shuts off engines: this stops the missiles from spinning off when engaged by point defence
    • Kill switch will now stop guidance once the missile is on track (slightly less accurate but it IS a killswitch)
    • Guidance parameters tweaked for better responsiveness
  • GASP missile tip redesigned. Idea was given to me by MK84, and after testing, this tip provides a great balance of penetration at most impact angles
  • Ammo load updated for change in component cost due to above change
  • Status screen added to the combat bridge.
    They display:
    • Position
    • Velocity
    • Acceleration
    • Turret Ammo
    • GASP Missile Statuses
  • Safety system added: missiles will not be reloaded until ship is moving under 15 m/s (to avoid the annoying projector inertia bug)
  • Timer systems redistributed to missile mounts to save space
  • Ship reference block moved
    • Primary and Secondary cameras are now swapped because of this
  • Cleaned up terminal naming scheme
  • Minor aesthetic changes

  • Redesigned fire system and guidance package; missiles are now more accurate
  • Combined GASP system and GASP guidance scripts
  • Added guidance kill switch: you can now stop guiding all missiles that are currently tracking by hitting the [9] key on toolbar 1
  • Added ammo to CIWS turrets: I derped and forgot on the other releases :P

  • Added extra mass block to the torpedoes: Torpedoes clear the ship much faster now
  • Refined firing tube. Missiles should not get stuck so easily when firing while turning
  • Updated all main gun magazine inventories to account for the added components
  • Updated specification section
  • Added info on main gun ammo storage to specification section
