v2.7.1

- Bug fix: Fixed the altitude at which the flight path is created for ISO: Crystal Isles map so that it is not created at a height outside the world border, allowing the mod to function as expected on this custom map.

Update: 23 Mar, 2017 @ 4:21am

v2.7.0

- Feature: Added support for Extinction Core mod. Tamable flyers added by Extinction Core (that have a costume slot) can now be equipped with the Homing Pigeon Leg Ring.

- Enhancement: Added DisableAutoReturn, DisableSendToFlag, DisableRecallToFlag GameUserSettings.ini configuration options. The options allow server admins to disable certain features of Homing Pigeon if they so desire.

- Enhancement: Persist the multi-use wheel activation when selecting the Homing Pigeon Menu option, or navigating back to the main menu of the wheel.

- Enhancement: Homing Pigeon Menu text is now coloured blue in the multi-use wheel.

- Bug fix: Fixed "No Homing Pigeon Flags found" text in the Send To Flag UI menu which incorrectly referred to flyers instead of flags.

- Bug fix: Reduced the mod file size back to ~8mb after previously releasing v2.6.4 with an early version of the ARK Dev Kit which caused the size to be ~100mb with additional unused assets.

Update: 15 Mar, 2017 @ 4:25am

v2.6.4

- Bug fix: Fixed critical bug introduced by v254.8 ARK patch which prevented flyers from being manually recalled or sent to Homing Pigeon Flags on dedicated servers.
- Enhancement: Improved the Homing Pigeon Behavior Tree logic. Refactored existing code in the Leg Ring Buff.

Update: 24 Jan, 2017 @ 2:16am

v2.6.3

- Bug fix: Adjusted the flight path calculated altitude for custom map: Mortem Tupiu so that flyers no longer collide with the world ceiling, allowing them to return to flags as expected.

Update: 9 Jan, 2017 @ 2:31am

v2.6.2

- Bug fix: Adjusted the flight path (again) for the Skies of Nazca following a change to the map which altered the Max Kill Z Height, resulting in the altitude of the flight path to exceed the level bounds. Altitude for Skies of Nazca is now hardcoded to 145000 to avoid further issues with this work in progress map.

Update: 7 Jan, 2017 @ 7:48pm

v2.6.1

Bug fix: Adjusted the flight path calculated altitude for The Island so that flyers can fly over the volcano, and land at Homing Pigeon Flags placed in/on the Volcano itself.

Bug fix: Adjusted the flight path calculated altitude for custom map: Skies of Nazca so that flyers no longer collide with the world ceiling, allowing them to return to flags as expected.

Bug fix: Fixed Leg Ring static mesh from not attaching correctly to the dino's skeleton (cosmetic issue). The following dinos now support visually showing the Homing Pigeon Leg Ring on their skeleton:

  • Pteranodon
  • Argentavis
  • Quetzalcoatlus
  • Tapejara

Other dinos which support the Homing Pigeon Leg Ring will still continue to function correctly, they will just not visually show the Leg Ring attached to their skeleton (due no suitable socket being available on their skeleton in which to attach to).

Third-party mods will not be supported in showing the Leg Ring attached to their skeleton mesh (even if they are one of the supported dinos above). They will continue to correctly function though.

Bug fix: Homing Pigeon Leg Ring static mesh now correctly animates with the bone it is attached to when visually shown on the dino (see attachment bug fix notes above).

Update: 26 Dec, 2016 @ 9:21pm

v2.6.0

- Enhancement: Added support for ARK Comes Alive (ACA) mod
- Bug fix: Fixed bug in collision avoidance system which caused larger dinos (eg: Quetz) to register a positive collision check against themselves, resulting in the dino trying to "avoid" itself and failing to reach the destination flag.

Update: 26 Dec, 2016 @ 12:37am

v2.5.1

- Bug fix: Re-enabled the 'Recall to Flag...' feature following changes made in the v252.96 game patch which have fixed the waking dino from stasis bug.
- Bug fix: Flyers should no longer "wander" when they are manually recalled to a flag.
- Enhancement: Added support for Dimorphodon.

Update: 18 Dec, 2016 @ 6:52am

v2.5.0

- Feature: Send To Flag - manually send a flyer to a flag. Accessed via the multi-use menu on a flyer equipped with the Homing Pigeon Leg Ring (Homing Pigeon Menu > Send to Flag...).
- Enhancement: Notification messages have been standardised and now give context based on the calling action (Auto-return, Recall to Flag, Send to Flag etc..)
- Feature: Tribe Log support - all notification messages are recorded in the tribe log. Manual actions record the action instigator's name.

Update: 28 Nov, 2016 @ 4:28am

v2.4.2

- Bug fix: Fixed a bug which caused the Homing Pigeon Leg Ring buff to "wear off". This was caused by recent game patch where by buffs are not persisted by default when a dino is leveled up. The Buff is now persisted even when a dino is leveled up.

- Temporarily disabled the 'Recall to Flag...' menu option on the Homing Pigeon Flag, due to a bug introduced in a recent game patch which has meant that the method currently used to wake dinos from stasis no longer works. This has resulted in flyers who are recalled to not return. Note: This does not effect the auto-return on death feature, this works as expected.
