Valladolid is the de facto capital of the autonomous community of Castilla y León, Spain. It has a population of 300,000, although this can be as much as 400,000 if the surrounding province is counted. While the population is certainly large, the city itself is small, yet dense, and surrounded by rural countryside which is saturated with farms and dotted with villages. I have attempted to recreate the terrain, main highway infrastructure and railway lines as accurately as possible. The two main rivers, the Pisuerga, and its purposefully diverged counterpart, the Esgueva, are also present. Although the map has been recreated with real-life accuracy in mind, feel free to build whatever you want on this largely flat and organically flowing map. Please note: The map contains an abundance of fertile land outside of the main real-life urban area, and there is also a small pine forest, the same as in real life, but there are no oil or ore zones.
