Update: 5 Mar, 2017 @ 9:47am

1.Thunderstorms and Tornados now create storm target intensities proportional to the intensity of the disaster (0.25<x<1) instead of 1 if it was not raining when the disaster strikes.
2. landscape paths have flooding tolerances now. sliders in options.
3. new method for controlling storm drain assets using identical building identifications. and hybrid method of district control with id override.
4. natural drainage assets will no longer collapse. . . hopefully.
5. added buttons to safely remove rainfall including "delete all storm drain assets", "clean up cycle", "stop storm"
these buttons only work in game through the options menu.

Update: 6 Dec, 2016 @ 7:15pm

-Removed "Improved Inlet Mechanics" -SD Assets will no longer collapse due to flooding.

Update: 29 Nov, 2016 @ 8:59pm

Made compatible with Natural Disasters Update. :D
Added ALT Placement information when plopping assets with alternate placement.

Rainfall Beta Changenotes
- Fixed Vanilla Water Surface Elevation functions
- Fixed Building Flooding/Flooded Tolerances and Added Sliders for controlling them
- Fixed Roadway Flooding/Flooded Tolerance and Added Sliders for controlling them.
- Fixed Default storm water simulation settings and added Not Recommended to the unmodded simulation.
- Added option to prevent buildings from increased land value due to rainwater. This only helps while it is raining. Any rainwater left after the storm is complete can still cause spikes in land value. I Recommend utilizing retention pond assets to help with this.
- Replaced Inlet prop (you will need to download the new inlets props)
- Added a variety of widths for pairs of inlets mostly to make them easier to place and visually appealing. The pairs also include a manhole prop
- Added bubble-up outlet using the old inlet prop
- Added canal drain utilizing the large decal fix and canal drain decal
- New Mechanic – Storm drain outlets will operate at reduced rates when the Water Surface Elevation is greater than the Invert of the outlet.
- New Mechanic – Storm drain inlets will not operate until the Water Surface Elevation is greater than the Rim of the Inlet
- New Mechanic – Gravity drainage is determined if the inlet can drain to the outlet, the higher of the Inlet Elevation and the water surface elevation at the inlet must be greater than the higher of outlet invert and the water surface elevation at the outlet. This allows the mod to represent a basic concept of fluid mechanics which is static equilibrium.
- New Option – Ignore Gravity
- New Mechanic – Underground detention basins have invert and soffits and utilize the same new gravity mechanics that the outlets use. You can raise a lower them using page up and page down or the Move it! Mod.
- New Option – You can control whether the mod uses district control or not.
- New Feature – Natural Drainage Assets is an asset based approach to simulating rain over non-urban areas. They are free, no maintenance, and can be placed anywhere (anarchy will be needed to place on top of something else).
- New Feature – Retention Pond Assets is an asset based approach to simulating ground water. Water will rise from the locating until the “ground water” elevation per the setting of the asset. These assets allow for ponds that rise and fall with the amount of water you send at them. Helps with buildings upgrading due to land value spikes during rain. Only use these in a bowl because they auto scale and it will continue pouring out water until it hits its target elevation.
- Added option to turn off storm water pollution
- New Feature – Gravity and Force Main Outlets with Filters. Do not create or transmit storm water pollution but require road access and garbage removal.
- Added option to Prevent rain before hitting the milestone that unlocks landscape tools.
- Added milestone requirements to most storm drain assets. Most unlock at the same time as landscape tools.
