Forgot to set "is_designable" to "no".

Update: 4 Mar, 2018 @ 4:38pm

Jumpgates have returned!

...sort of.

With 2.0, it's no longer possible for constructors to build military stations, and radius based auras no longer exist, so I had to settle for changing it to a defense station for a starbase that affects the entire system.

Jumpgate renamed to Hyperspace Conduit.

Hyperspace conduit stats:
2500 Health
1000 Armor
500 Shields
3 Defense platform slots (will use all slots on an outpost)
1 year build time
500 mineral cost
4 energy upkeep
Can be built from the start of the game.

New starbase defense station: Luminal Bridge

Provides a system-wide aura that grants a +200% boost to non-combat sublight speed.

1250 Health
500 Armor
250 Shields
3 Defense platform slots (will use all slots on an outpost)
6 month build time
250 mineral cost
2 energy upkeep

Update: 26 Feb, 2018 @ 3:12pm

Removed 00_IHAFOW_guardian_utilities. No longer required as Leviathans now use Hyperlanes by default.

Removed redundant warp drive entries in 00_IHAFOW_utilities_drives since they no longer exist. IHAFOW drive values remain the same, however I won't be removing the jump / psi drive's ability to jump this time around since it is now a separate, activated ability with a balanced cooldown and drawbacks.

Jumpgates do no currently work at the moment since constructors can no longer build military stations. Currently looking at a workaround, possibly through megastructures.

Set "TI_CORE_SCALE" to 0.0 in the "00_hyperlanes_defines" file to prevent the fog of war in the galaxy core from being revealed when you approach it.

Tachyonic Particles should now always spawn on Pulsars.

Galaxy scenarios updated to include 2.0 settings.

Hyperlanes changed to the new blue color used in 2.0

Update: 23 Dec, 2017 @ 6:04pm

New feature: Jumpgates
A new station that costs 250 minerals, and can be built from the start of the game. Moving into its aura will allow you to jump to a system with no charge time and no wind down, and reduces the travel time by 75%. Arriving in a jumpgate's aura from another system will also cancel the wind down, allowing you to chain them along important hyperspace routes within your empire.

Aura effects:
-100% Jump Charge Time
-100% Jump Cooldown
+300% FTL Speed

New rare tech line: Hyperdrive Modulation
Has 5 tiers, and reduces Jump Cooldown and improves FTL Speed by 10% each tier. Can be acquired from the start of the game.

New strategic resource: Tachyonic Particles (from my Stellar Resources mod)
Found on Pulsars, they grant a +50% FTL speed bonus, -10% Jump Charge time, and -10% Jump Cooldown.

FTL Changes
Base Jump Charge Time is now 30 days (from 20)

Base Jump Cooldown is now 10 days (from 1)

Hyperdrive Changes
H1 - 30 Jump Charge Time, 10 day Jump Cooldown

H2 - 24 day Jump Charge Time (-20%), 9 day Jump Cooldown (-10%),

H3 - 18 day Jump Charge Time (-40%), 8 day Jump Cooldown (-20%), +10% FTL Speed

JD - 12 day Jump Charge Time (-60%), 7 day Jump Cooldown (-30%), +25% FTL Speed

PD - 6 day Jump Charge Time (-80%), 6 day Jump Cooldown (-40%), +50% FTL Speed

A Psi Drive with all of the above bonuses including Zro will have a 3 day Jump Charge Time, no Jump Cooldown, and a +200% FTL speed (FTL travel time reduced by 66%)

Other changes
Leviathans now use hyperlanes instead of warp.

Number of stars in galaxy core slightly increased.

Removed the "00_map_modes" file override since the game now keeps the same fog of war opacity between map modes.

Updated for 1.9. No changes.

Update: 15 Oct, 2017 @ 3:45pm

Speculative fix for ships getting stuck in FTL:

"NEBULA_TRAVEL_SPEED_PENALTY" from 0.66 to 0.50

"HYPERDRIVE_INTERSTELLAR_TRAVEL_SPEED" from 0.10 to 0.15

Update: 10 Oct, 2017 @ 9:37pm

Increased "stars_min_dist = 2.0" to 5.0. Makes hyperlanes a bit less linear with a little more looping.

Update: 10 Oct, 2017 @ 7:55pm

- Update for 1.8.x

- Replaced "00_utilities_drives" with "00_IHAFOW_utilities_drives" to improve compatibility.

- Mod no longer outright removes non-hyperdrive drives.

- Tier 1-3 Warp Drives now function like their respective Hyperdrives, in the event that warp capable empires somehow appear. This also makes space cows travel through hyperlanes.

- Jump and Psi drives have been re-added and altered to function as high-level hyperdrives, which also allows fallen empires and crisis enemies to once again have a significant advantage FTL-wise.

- Hyperdrive wind up time changed from 15 days to 20, and now have a 1 day wind down time.

- Hyperdrive charge time bonuses changed to:
Tier 1 - 0% (20 days)
Tier 2 - 25% (15 days)
Tier 3 - 50% (10 days)
Jump Drive - 75% (5 days)
Psi Drive - 100% (instant). The one day wind down period allows them to be intercepted.

- Replaced "NEBULA_NAMES_FADEOUT_ZOOM = 999999999" with "MAPNAME_NEBULA_SCALE = 0.0"

- Removed the glowing planet orbit lines, as it was outside the scope of the mod.

- Changed nebula penalty from 95% to 66%, mainly for the change below.

- Changed interstellar travel speed to 10%. This significantly increases travel time, and allows more room for strategic gameplay. Travel times widely vary depending on lane length and nebula presence. It can take anywhere from a few days to a few months, with the average being a week or two.

- Changed the custom galaxy generation to drastically reduce the number of core stars (2%, was previously 20%). Previously, it was just a messy clusterf***. Now, there are only a few dozen stars in the core. This also makes the core much more strategically valuable, while adding many more stars to the arms of the galaxy. Would also make sense that navigable hyperlanes are much more rare in the dense core of a galaxy.

- Tweaked hyperlane generation so that more branching and looping should occur, making it a bit less "linear". The above change also helps with this.

- There are now 3 galaxy sizes: 1000, 2500, and 5000 stars. Keep in mind that this mod is designed to be used with the 3 specific 4-arm galaxy layouts from this mod. Use other galaxy layouts at your own risk.

- New screenshots for the new update.
