After initially deeming this project complete, almost two years later after playing a game of TTT with friends, I felt like the quality of the map wasn't on par to what I wanted and what I could do. In this final update of ttt_junction, you will experience better lighting, more eye-candy, revised gameplay flow in some areas and of course, the best degree of optimisation yet - hours upon hours of reworking the internal works of buildings, removing unnecessary textures and generally cleaning shit up. The changes are:

- Significant optimisation changes. You will notice an increase in your fps.

- Removed obnoxious authoring pop-up text at start of round.

- Randomised player spawns.

- Added and changed a few things on the map to enhance gameplay.

- Added significantly more ammo and gun spawns.

- Added some ambient sounds in some places.

- Added visual effects to lighting.

- Enhanced environment lighting.

- Fixed lighting from light sources like bulbs and floodlights.

- Neatened out a few map details.

- Fixed bug with skybox being able to be seen through the map.

- Made breakables such as windows have more health.

- Added a bit more detail to the skybox.

- Fixed and sped up doors in the family house.

- Fixed being able to shoot through elevator walls.

- Fixed being able to change direction of elevator movement using crowbar.

- Reduced damage elevator inflicts on player.

- Removed a few ways of getting out of the map.

- Fixed an issue which restricted players from climbing the apartment ladder.

- Fixed an issue with player spawns clipping in the pavement.

- Added some more buildings in skybox to add... feeling of size?

Sorry about these two rather huge issues that were caused by the previous update and went unnoticed for, well, a very long while. Hopefully these issues have been resolved now.

- Fixed a hole in one of the buildings.

- Disabled and removed a ton of unnecessary shadows and decals.

- Removed a few unnecessary brushes, including those which were very angular.

- Decreased size of skybox.

(These above changes SHOULD have a positive impact on your framerate!)

- Added new minor features on map modelled around getting to higher places (and balance of play I guess)!

- Added and changed lighting within the map.

- Fixed a few textures and irregular brush and prop placement.

- Reduced clutter (which includes physics objects) located at spawn.

- Decreased the time of the authoring pop-up at the start of the game from 7 seconds to 3 seconds.

- Fixed apartment roof elevator enterance texture.

- Increased amount of space between spawn points.

- Messed around with skybox stuff.

Sorry for the quick consecutive update! I decided to change the texture of the skybox skyscraper antenna for the worse as it denied being affected by fog - in which is fixed now in this fast little panic update.

- Reverted skyscraper texture to initial texture from what was the new metal texture.

- Fixed a bunch of lighting-shadow issues with a few lights around the map.

- Spiced and neatened up the construction site, with a ladder and new props to climb ontop of and hide behind, more diverse use of textures and just overall making some odd walls line up. Also a lot of graffiti.

- Increased the height of the climbable ladder on the dubbed 'window cleaning' platform near spawn.

- Changed the lighting effect inside the warehouse to reduce chances of epilepsy and increase clarity.

- Dimmed down a few lights in different areas.

- Added missing windows to construction site trucks and spawn lorry (although the window won't fully align due to the stupid grid increments).

- Added more weapons to areas like construction site and destroyed culdesac building.

- Brought forward a weapon spawn which was initially unreachable in the construction site.

- Changed a few of the textures of structures in the skybox to make them feel more unique.

- Proportionised the apartment roof elevator enterance.

- Sealed random gaps between walls in destroyed culdesac building.

- Added a button ontop of tower to call lift in construction site.

- Fixed a few bugs with construction site lift.

- Buttons on construction site lift now no longer retract into the wall.

- Further increased map performance / map optimisation.
