Because components in her mod use features from Roro. If you just want the ability to place a spacestation on any planet, then download the modified version I did. Iys Edwiesels mod that I modified so it can be placed on all planets without the risk of it interfering with the games needed random quests. Im on my phone so cant give a straight link so click on my profile and should be easy to find. Plus many other awsome mods like disabling stations protected blocks and freemove where you can move around freely without all that jumping all over. Works with Frackin Universe too.
PrelawGunmir 15 Sep, 2018 @ 1:24pm
why does it require Roro?

does this work with toxic planets too? and are moonpools possible?

What her mod does, is put a spacestation console on water worlds and lava worlds in which you can expand as far down as you like. I don't no if she ever fixed it, but there was an issue where the planets the station spawned on, prevented key civilitations from spawning, so with her permission, I expanded on it and made it so anyone can spawn a station on any planet without interfearing with the quest spawns. I even expanded on it and the mod has worked well of the other space sation mods. Link to it is .... https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1136914532

@sirxanthor Thanks for your help if you finished that device tell me.lol~ :steamhappy:

I'll test them both shortly. Do newbie quests work now with it or is that stil being worked on? Let me know if you want me to help putting a pass through on this mod. A pass through is basically the missing data for spawning dungeons and so forth with planets that spawn the inspection station. Something else I could do as well, and it would most likely be a fix for all. What if I made a device so instead of having to search for planets with inspection stations, you could spawn one on any planet you choose? This way I can put a check in so people cant spawn more than one per planet.

I fix it ,my mod Support other planet mod:steamhappy:

Id love to know what you used to design the rooms. I had already put links in to your planetary inspection station and roro vernicles. It was missing icons that showed what each room looked like on the menu. My daughter and I put those in. For those who think roro took code from the game, she didn't. I looked through the entire mod. All code is hers. As for the issue. Those two planets you picked for spawning the station, they are key planets for people doing the beginners quests, and a few other quests too. The mod takes over and they don't spawn. I'm looking into this and seeing if I can get code in to do everything it's bypassing.

@sirxanthor I have already use new spacestation rooms to the regular spacestation:steamhappy:
Lord-Xanthor 15 Sep, 2017 @ 9:40pm
Edwiesel, I modified your mod so it adds your new spacestation rooms to the regular spacestation and not interfear with quest planets like it was doing previously. Message me if you want this back or if its ok for me to post it. More people would download this describing adding rare rooms than what it was labled.

Discovered something interesting. For those who want a few space station planets but also not want a bugged game. go to a few worlds marked Lava or Oceana and once you teleport to the space station, which is how you find them as you teleport down, mark it via the teleporter. Even save a backup of the world file that's most recent so you can swap out some mondain planets later if you know how. After your happy with your setup, just delete both this mod and the rovo and the game will play without error, plus unlike other mods that cause errors when you delete them, these two you will notice when you teleport back to them, they will still exist and can still build there and the Hylotl underwater cities and dungeons will spawn on any new water world you go to, and dungeons will spawn properly as well.

Your mod I just discovered has a EXTREMELY BAD consequence when using it. I just tested it too for verification with the mod and without. The planet you chose to let the station spawn on is the Hylotl race, where the underwater city is supposed to spawn. When you use this mod, those cities will NEVER spawn at all. When you uninstall this mod and go to the same world from backup, the city is there. I noticed the issue when the server kept stating it could not place a lot of hylotl objects, not to metion the exception error that doesnt crash the server. Something you might want to look into. Its a great idea, just horrible price to pay to use it.

@sirxanthor you can add some code in "terrestrial_worlds.config.patch ":steamhappy:

Deleted other post, discovered why I could not find this place. The picture is extremely missleading. I was looking exactly what the video showed but found out after accidentally teleporting to one on a world that the elivator is not put up yet, that this is basically a space station waiting to be used. Nice idea, but have another. With so many mods and so many worlds, why not make a mod that allows the player to send a probe to a planet that puts a station there? Then we can decide what planets get them or not and none of that searching forever.

Correct me if I miss anything but from what @Edwiesel has shown this mod spawns the default space station on the surface of both the vanilla ocean and lava planets in the same way the Hylotl surface buildings spawn.

so where is the station im an a vanila ocean planet and cant find it

Got it. So just to clarify the other point, though, does it spawn naturally on planets or do you call one down like you do with space stations? I'm assuming it's the former given how you worded it but I figure it's worth clarifying since this mod seems to function rather differently from most.

" build modules like you do on a space station"

💖 Officer Hotpants 💖 16 Jul, 2017 @ 10:09am
What is this, exactly? Something that spawns naturally on the planet? Something you need to build? The description leaves me unsure of what I'm looking at. It seems to imply that it's a sort of planetside space station. Do you find this inspection station and then build modules like you do on a space station?
