Stasi, I reviewed your Workshop entries and although I'd agree that your work is unique and your own, I DON'T agree in the slightest that kosear "stole" any of your work. You predominantly do textures and port them to the weapons. And from what I've seen of your work (including the one you linked in this post) the styles of your weapons are AT BEST similar just because they're weapon grips.
But in all actuality, you're just using kosear's misfortune as a platform to promote your work which is just scumbaggy in itself. -_-

@Stasi 4k, fuck off. The handles on kosear's weapon and your weapon look NOTHING ALIKE. Yours is clearly a different shape, style, and texture with a completely different color schema to fit your skin's theme (camoflague with wood insettings) where as his is really doesn't add much to the overall casino theme.
You are using his misfortune as a device to get more traffic onto your workshop items and that's fucked up.

Moral of the story: Contraband Rarity was a mishap, a flawed idea, Valve was lazy, and never went back and changed it. The Griffin is a prime example everyone reminds us of, so please, if you see this let this be a lesson learned, in several ways. On the plus side, as an artist myself (although more mediocre) I'd have in this case filed complaints long before it's debut onto Spectrum2, that is if I saw before hand. I know this is all repetitive, but I had to correct myself by being more definitive. So please, never plagiarize, steal, pirate, whatever, and understand that there will NEVER be another Contraband itwm if not the Howl will be hotfixed back to covert.

HyS is saying somewhat the truth... but as it has been DMCA'd by someone, it's still going to be reviewed. This doesn't mean it is going to get contraband but that doesn't either say it is going to get. I have looked on Tumblr and DeviantArt and found literally nothing that recembles anything on this skin, which makes me think it's a fake DMCA claim

I've looked into this, whoever did this is besides me, I've also checked throughout the workshop, never saw a single occurence of this weapon, nor have I ever seen the artwork like this before. So either this is that rare unseen deviant art sham, or idfk.
